Writing articles can be an easy way to promote your site and affiliate programs.

It is by far one of the easiest things that nearly anybody can do and see results.

When you write articles and submit them to article directories and ezines you not only get valuable back links.

You get the chance to put your material in front of more visitors than you normally could your self. Like most things in Internet marketing you first have to find a topic to write about.

In this case though we are not going to search for keywords that are easy to rank in.

You are going to determine the topic of your article by choosing a product to promote.

Preferably this topic should have something to do with your site’s or blog’s main topic.

If you do not have a site or blog don’t worry.

You can either start up a blog to post them on or simply skip posting your own articles at all.

People out there have been know to make money by promoting affiliate programs in articles without even having a site of their own.

It is highly recommended that you have your own articles posted on a related blog or site but it is not necessary.

Now that you have a general idea about what you are going to write about you need to find a product to promote in it.

The easiest way to do this is by using clickbank dot com.

 It is completely free to signup for an affiliate and you will find products on most anything you can think of there.

To find a product simply search for your main keyword or browse the category your topic belongs to.

You should not have to hard of a time finding a product. In fact you may find several products.

To narrow it down to just one though you will want to choose one with a high gravity or near the top.

 These products sell better than other ones that are similar.

The main reason for this is because they simply have a better sales page.

These products should give you better results.

At this point you should have a topic and a product to promote.

It is now time to start writing your article. If you know about your topic this will be allot easier.

If not don’t worry you can find the information you need online.

The best place for you to search is on Google for “Main Keyword Forum” with main keyword being your topic.

You will find literally tons of information on forums.

These are by far the best places to look since you will also see what questions people are asking.

 If you can write an article on a common problem in your articles topic market and how to work around it or solve it that would be great.

You know that people are looking for the information so your article should get some good attention.

After you are done browsing around the forums you should plenty of good information to write about as well as knowing the target markets main problems.

Now all you have to do is start putting all of that new found information into your article.

You don’t want to just throw a bunch of information together.

You must follow the outline of an article to ensure that it gets picked up by several sites and blog’s (more on this later).

The object of your article is to be informative and entertaining.

It is hard enough to get a person to look at a banner or classified ad.

You want your article to be inviting and interesting so that your viewer will read the entire thing.

If your article looks like a big advertisement people will quickly hit the back button and not many sites will publish it.

There are five main types of article styles that you can use.

The first of which is the how to.

This is by far the most popular and the easiest way to slip in an affiliate link or two. It is easy to sell something that makes the process you are writing about easier or quicker.

Do not be bold though, this will turn people off.

 Simply say something like “If you have The Great Product skip steps 3 – 5.

For now we will just assume that you don’t though”.

This is subtle and one of the best ways to pull in results.

The second type of article is the opinion based article.

No matter what industry or business you work in there will be new developments, and products.

This is a good chance for you to tell the public more about this product or service and slip in your affiliate link.

You can easily find something to write your opinion about.

Try to write an article about how said product will effect the industry or how it effects your business.

The third type of article is a personal story / inspirational essay.

Human interest stories like these are another popular format.

You can simply write about your experiences being in your industry or why you started your business. Perhaps throw in an affiliate link to a product that helped you.

If possible try to make it humorous or inspirational and if you can pull it off make it both.

The fourth type of article is a book excerpt or condensation.

 This is the best kind of article to write if you own the product you are promoting.

You can simply make a chapter into an article or two to give as a teaser or write a condensed article based on the ideas discussed in the product.

The fifth and final article type is a top ten list.

It does not really have to be a top ten. It can be a top seven list or whatever you want but a top ten list article is the most popular.

You should easily be able to write an article on the “top five must have TV features” and then make a recommendation towards the end.

Now that you have a good idea of what you article will look like and what information it will contain it is time to start writing.

Every article must follow a very basic outline.

If you fail to skip over this simple step your article will not get picked up or read.

You will want to keep your articles paragraphs small.

Three to four lines should be plenty with the occasional one sentence paragraph.

This makes your article easy to read. Most viewers will simply skip over or skim any big blocks of text you have in your article.

The first part of your article is your headline.

This should be very much like you would see on a sales letter.

The sole purpose of the headline is to grab the readers attention and to stir up curiosity.

If your headline is poorly written the rest of your article will not even get looked at.

This is by far the most important part of your article.

The second part of your article is the opening paragraph.

This paragraph should give a brief overview of what you will discuss and help pull the reader in even further.

 It should be interesting and leave the reader with some questions in which you will answer in your article. This is the second most important part of your article.

If you can keep them interested through this they will most likely read the rest of your article.

The third part of your article is the body. This section will contain the bulk of your information.

You should constantly keep throwing valuable information to your reader and avoid any fluff and filler.

Your article should be as long as it needs to be and no longer.

Keep it short, to the point and simple.

The fourth part of your article should be the conclusion.

This section should be one or two paragraphs and review what the reader learned.

You should also finish off your article with a call to action or some inspirational words.

You always want to end your articles on a high point.

 This will give your readers the feeling that they did not waste their time.

The fifth and final part of your article should be the authors BIO.

This is the place that you will put information about yourself and your place your affiliate link.

When putting your affiliate link use something like “To Learn More About Great Product Please Visit – Affiliate Link”.

This does not look like blatant advertising and will get you more clicks.

At this point you should have an informative article that promotes a product through your affiliate link.

 So the next thing you should do is prep your article for submission.

 In addition to what you have already wrote you will need a summary and some keywords.

Your summary should be about three sentences long and give an overview of your article.

Make sure that your summary is interesting and pulls the reader in.

 Often times your headline and summary are the only thing shown when someone is searching so make them count.

Now make a list of keywords that are related to your article.

This will help search engines find your article and help it get better rankings.

You are now ready to submit your article.

There are several article directories to submit your article to.

 I will leave it up to you to find directories to submit to.

 If you simply type in “article directories” you should get a list of hundreds.

I suggest that you submit to the top twenty or so to get good coverage.

The more directories you submit to the more chances you have of sites publishing your article.

Most all article directories are the same. You will have to first sign up for an authors account.

 Then you can start submitting as many articles as you like.

It can take as little as an hour and as much as a month to get your articles approved.

Keep in mind that these people have tons of articles to go through.

So instead of wondering when they are going to get reviewed write another article.

Article writing is one of the easiest ways to make money promoting affiliate programs.

Once you get into your article writing groove it will take less time to write and submit each article.

Like with most things the only way to improve is through practice.

Keep writing articles on your chosen topic until you think you have covered all the topics basis.

Once you are done with that topic move on to a new product and a new topic. If you continue to do this you will eventually find affiliate sales coming from all directions.

Why Compete with Other Resellers in the Marketplace?

How can you compete with other resellers who are selling the exact same product for the exact same price to the exact same market? It’s actually easier than you might think!

First, remember that 90% of all people who hold the same resell rights license that you hold either won’t market the product at all, or won’t market it correctly. This essentially means that only 10% of those who have resell rights to the same product are in competition with you. However, it really doesn’t matter how competitive the market is or how many other resellers there are for the same product. When it is all said and done, the only thing that really counts is how the product is marketed – how it is presented to the market.

The first thing you must do is set yourself apart from the pack. Don’t concern yourself with what others are doing. Do your own thing. Do what works. Start by making the product as different as your license will allow you to. Change the package to include bonuses that others are not offering. Also change the sales letter. Make it completely different, and more effective than it already is.

Once you’ve changed the product and the package as much as you are allowed to, it is time to see what others are doing, to an extent. For instance, if you plan to market using Google AdWords, see what keywords your competitors (other resellers) are bidding on, and what they are paying. Either pay more, or bid on different, more targeted keywords.

For example, if you are selling an information product on weight loss, don’t use weight loss as your keyword, or any other common key words. Instead, use weight loss for men, or weight loss for women over 40. Narrow your market as much as you possibly can. You can bet that the majority of your competitors will not be using such care in choosing keywords!

Also use other methods of marketing the product. You need to Market to your own email list. Market to other people’s email lists. Write articles and distribute them to the article banks. Hold Tele-seminars. The important thing is to establish yourself as an expert in the field that is related to your product, and set yourself apart.

It’s no secret that JV Giveaways are a great way to get free marketing products. In fact you can get almost any marketing product with resale rights simply by visiting JV Giveaways and simply signing up and joining other marketers email lists. Lets take a look at the other side of JV Giveaways and find out what being a JV partner is all about and how it can make you money.

In order to do this you will need to get some hosting, either free or paid. You will also need to have an autoresponder, this can be either free or paid as well. The last thing you need is to know how to make a simple web page.

The first thing you will have to do if you want to make money from being a JV partner is get something to sell. The best place to do that is coincidentally a JV Giveaway. If you don’t know of any JV Giveaways that are currently running you can check out limitedtimedeals dot guruofinfo dot com.

Once you join the JV Giveaway you will want to find a few products that are not seen as often and where made recently. If possible try and find about ten products like this. You will be taking about three and giving them away and using the rest to make a package to sell.

In order to do this you will need to know how to make a simple sales page for your one time offer (OTO), a thank you page, and the giveaway page. Most JV Giveaways now have the capability to enter your email list form into their site so you will not have to make a signup page.

The next thing you will have to do is find a way to gather emails. You can do this with a script hosted on your site, a free autoresponder service, or a paid autoresponder service. Getting a paid autoresponder service like Aweber is always preferred but if you are on a tight budget you can use a free autoresponder site.

To find a free autoresponder service to use for your JV Giveaway simply do a search on Google. You should come up with several pages of results. The best ones to look for are those who do not use advertisements in your emails.

The next thing you will need to have is some form of web site hosting. If you already have a host then you are doing good. If you would like to get a good host for your business I would recommend Dream Host. If you cannot afford to pay for web site hosting then simply find a free one. Like the free autoresponder try to find one that does not display ads on your site.

Now it is time to make your simple sales page. This is the page going to be used for your OTO. New members of your list will see this page before they get there free products. This will be one of the two ways that you can make money from JV Giveaways.

Your OTO should be short, sweet and to the point. This page will consists of a headline, opening paragraph, short talk about the benefits, list of products with descriptions, bulleted list of benefits, guarantee, order link, a conclusion with P. S.’s and the link to your free products.

You will want to start your page off with an attention grabbing headline and follow it up with an equally strong sub headline. Keep in mind that you are selling to marketing newbies so try to keep focused on them. Your headline should point out the main benefit of having what you are selling. The sub headline should point out the second best benefit.

You may have to tweak your headline until it is strong since the pages visitor is not here to buy something. The freebie crowd is a hard one to get to buy but the key is to make it cheap and a very good value.

The next part of your page will be your opening text. Make sure that your first paragraph keeps your readers attention. Your opening text should be about three paragraphs and tell all about the benefits of having the products.

Note: It will be allot easier to write your mini sales page if you have actually read and like the products you are selling.

The third part of the OTO page you will be using for JV Giveaway’s will actually tell the visitor what the products are. To do this it is best to use a table two cells wide. On the one side you will want to put a picture of the products cover. On the other you will want to put the title of the product along with a brief description.

If you need to find pictures for your products the best way is to use Google’s images search engine. It can be found on Google’s main page by clicking the images link.

The next thing your mini sales page needs is some benefit bullets. The best way to make your benefit bullets is to directly reference parts of the products. This will arouse curiosity in your reader, hopefully enough to buy the books so they can find the answer. For example do something like the following.

Try to do at least one of these benefit bullets for each book. If you have a hard time finding one for each book it is time to rethink what you are going to sell. You want the products to be useful to your customers. If you cannot find at least one good thing to mention then you should scrap using that book in your sale.

The next thing you need on your mini sales page is a guarantee. Most people use a thirty to sixty day money back guarantee. If you sell your package for low enough though you may never see a refund request. Just in case though keep enough to refund two or three sales in your acct.

Now you will need to put an order button on this sales page. The easiest way to accept payments is to use PayPal. Once you have signed up or signed in to PayPal you can consult help to find out how to make your button. I strongly suggest selling your package for only $5 through $15.

This will also be the time you think of a name for your thank you page. Use something other than thankyou.html so it is not to easy to guess. The address to this page will be where your button sends customers after a successful purchase. Also make sure you get your payment button encrypted so that others cannot steal your products.

Now it is time to wrap up your sales page. In this you need to write a closing paragraph or two that tell more about the benefits and state that your visitor will never see this page again. Next you will need to write a small series of post scripts (P. S.). These will restate the benefits again.

The last part will be to add a link to your free products. This is a the very end so hopefully new members will read your sales page. You will also want to put it very close to the post scripts so they will get a glimpse at the products benefits before getting their free products. This is where you will name your free page.

Now that your mini sales page is done you will need to upload the sales page and it’s pictures to your host. Once it is uploaded make sure the page loads correctly and check your order button to ensure that it works.

Note: You should try and change your OTO and giveaway products every few months or five JV Giveaways. After your offer is seen enough you will get considerably less signup’s.

Now you will want to make the remaining two pages that are needed for your JV Giveaway. Both of these will be really short and very simple.

The fist one will be your free page. This page can be named most anything since it really does not matter if someone stumbles upon it. This page will be very simple and consists of only a thank you message and a link to the products.

Note: It will be easier on you and your list members if you zip the products being offered in the packages. This will cut down on the number of links you need to make as well as the number they need to click on to get their products.

The second and last page you need to make will be your thank you page. This page is very similar to the free page you just made. It to will consist of a thank you message and a download link. The only way anybody should get access to this page is by buying your OTO.

Now that you have that out of the way it is time to setup your email list. The first thing you will need to do create your list. This list can be named whatever you like. You will also need to make a simple message the member will get when they sign up.

This message will welcome them and have a link for them to get their free products that leads to your OTO. You should also be able to have them sent to the OTO after signing up. The email will serve as a reminder.

Most importantly you will need to get the code for your signup form. Go ahead and copy this code to an empty text document for right now since you will need it soon.

Congratulations the hardest part is now behind you. Now all you have to do is signup as a JV partner in as many JV Giveaways as possible. To do this revisit the Limited Time Deals site mentioned earlier. You should see something that refers to signing up as a JV partner in each JV Giveaway announcement. If you do not the giveaway most likely quit accepting new JV partners.

Find whatever ones you can that are still accepting new partners and sign up for them. Once you have completed your registration and signed in you should see a list of links. You will need to go to the partners area and then click on manage gifts.

Now simply fill in all of the fields. I strongly suggest that you copy the contents of each field to the same text document that you put your form code on. This will save you time in the long run. Writing an article doesn’t just mean putting down thoughts into words then typing and writing it. You have to capture the interest of your readers and get them to keep on reading. 4) Set the mood. Setting the mood requires you to just go with the moment or to induce your self to feeling what makes your mind works best. To all writers and non-writers out there, now is the time to start digging up those creative writing skills back.
