Being Lazy But Productive

Being Lazy But Productive

What Do I Mean Being Lazy but Productive?

Well recently I have noticed that I have been getting more done and not spending so much time doing the work that I used to and I have been a little lazy but productive at the same time.

As the old saying goes, “Focus on what you have in front of you at this very moment and take 1 step at a time, until you achieve that which you are aiming for”.

If you have a big project that you are working on and you only have a week or even a couple days to get it done, maybe think about outsourcing some of your work, to someone whose expertise you can rely on.

Trying to do the work all by yourself, you loose the real fact’s which you have been aiming for, I bet your wondering “What am I talking about?” Ok let’s begin by saying in less words, you want to get the project or part of the project done quickly.

You do not need for it to be pefect, this will waist time, you want to be productive, so you finish it and have someone or your assistant or edit, look it over and publish it, you can always come back to it and update it all later. Haven’t Bill Gates done this with Microsoft and wasn’t Microft the biggest software company for many years, that is until recent years Google jump into the software business as well.

But let’s not change the subject here, we are talking about being “A Lazy But Productive Worker”, This seems to be funny to some people I have spoken to over the passed couple of years. They laugh about it because they always seem to see me working and always happy, a few years ago that wasn’t the case but once you learn to come up with ideas, plans and take action on those plans. By also taking it upon yourself to Invest in yourself through the use of Time, Money and Effort, you never know what you can accomplish.

Also you do not need to be a genious but you do need to offer quality and it’s not always about quantity, we will not get into this to much either at the moment.

But plan out your day, week, year and what you desire to get done and you will be able to get it done, if you use follow up sessions. Without action nothing else can be done, simply because with ideas, plans and action, you are truly sitting idle. Also something I learned from Michael Masterson over the years has been, any action is better then no action at all.

We will cover this in more detail soon, but for now, learn to write down your problems, try to come up with solutions to those problems, see how you can solve those problems with some type of action, whether it may be in the areas of money, time, or Energy.

Make it count, we only have this day we are not guaranteed tomorrow or even later today, make everything count and learn to respect yourself and your decisions, we are all constantly learning each and everyday. Now if you can make some money while steadily improving yourself, it makes it that much more valuable.

Raise your bar in achieving your goals and you will learn, that you will reach by using the old “Time Chunking Method”. That is all about breaking up large projects into smaller projects and working on them in small blocks of time, which is definitely a great way of getting things done.
