Getting Started On Your New Life

Some Stories always start off on how much success one has had and other stories talk about their Rags to Riches Way to Millionaire Status.

But what about the folks who actually share their stories with family and friends, but they never come out in the public and reveal all of their stories.

Some people love using stories to get their points across to the crowd they have in front of them and makes it more interesting because people can relate to those stories.

Abraham Lincoln used a lot of stories in his life and became a President even though he was not well known until he lost his beloved wife and until the age of 40 years old, also he grew up with his step mother but treated her like his real mother.

All adults dont realize that we live on a daily basis, based on daily habits and the more we prepare for our day to day lives the more happier we will be.

Enjoying the time that we have with each other, either with a significant other or family and friends, we all only live once and we must take everything one step a time.

The things that we love to do and want to do are always different and always seems to be completely out of reach.

Time is our most Valuable Asset and we must treasure it to the fullest because we all trade it for money each and every moment of everyday.

We all trade time for money and money for time.

The better prepared we are and the more we are willing to improve the more resilient we will be in the long run.

Money is a very important key ingredient in our daily livelihood, but not the most important.

But we must also admit to ourselves that we will need to make enough money to cover the daily expenses and enough to enjoy our lives that much more, rather then simply relying on the paycheck to paycheck route.

We must also realize that you must relax and get enough sleep to keep your mind at ease, some people are always grumpy because they lack slumber and or just plainly cannot sit still long enough to enjoy themselves. Why this is a big factor most people are simply easily bored and not willing to admit to it and when they do the still deny it some way some how.

Take a moment to relax, breath and enjoy the here and now, but prepare for the future.

Best regards,

Julio Mattos

Daily Business Journey: Becoming A Successful Entrepreneur

This journey you are on to make money, to improve your current living conditions, to be more in control of your time and also your earning potential, to be able to do the type of work you truly enjoy and look forward to waking up to everyday.

Money alone will not be a motivator in the long run and so while you are working and looking to create multiple income streams, you have to consider what you are truly looking to get from your business journey and what you will like to do on this business journey that you plan to work so hard on. Where you will spend a great deal of your time, energy, efforts, to build and run and grow.

We invest so much into our Business Journey, we invest our time, energy and our money into our businesses, and sometimes we forget where we are heading. We tend to loose the direction we were going and also what the reason was for us starting our business journey in the first place. Sometimes we look back and regret even getting started and simply because we had a rough start and are struggling to get by, depending on what your business journey has provided for you so far.

Realize that a Entrepreneur traveling down this Daily Business Journey Super Highway, you will need to learn to deal with the difficulties that will come along, otherwise if your looking to surpass the 5 year mark and 10 year mark, you will need to learn to truly build a strong foundation from the beginning.

Of course it’s not going to be an easy path and will not happen overnight, but if you are willing to be determined and are looking to take the leap towards the success you are looking for, it can and it will happen.

You must “Learn To Invest In Yourself” before you can jump into investing in anything else, we all look for the big payday but we must learn to believe in our own abilities and trust in our hearts and in our ability to learn from those more knowledeable then ourselves. To take that knowledge and advice, to embark on our journey of finding our own voice and looking back upon our core values to help drive us and help us to achieve knew highs, also to decrease our risk factors this will serve to be the best of any lessons taught.

Drive yourself and believe in yourself, by coming up with ideas, plans, taking daily action and also steadily learning while your earning. As employees and as business owners we must learn to increase our skills in our chosen professions and also learning to invest in the our dreams and in balancing out our time and money making abilities.

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!

 Saint Patrick’s Day 2008

Most people are celebrating and or planning to celebrate Saint Patrick’s day, of course over the weekend a lot of people were celebrating here in San Francisco. We had a lot of tourists in town who came to watch the parade here on Market Street and who discover that they decided to stay, to remain for the party today.

They will be here to party and to have fun, celebrate their vacations, also me and some of my friends will be getting together to party and to discuss business and plans for this year.

We will also be planning for a few projects that we have line up and some other deal’s to make.

Please be careful where you maybe and also celebrate the day with family and friends, but be careful even though it’s a holiday please do not drink and drive, party with safety in mind and you will be fine.

If you are in an unfamiliar place and or in a different city or state have fun and enjoy yourself, but leave your valuables at home and only take enough money to take care of yourself for food and drinks.

Happy Saint Patrick’s day, we here at will be working on a few article’s to come your way and we will be setting a few products to get you taking action for the remainder of this terrific year.

Helping you get your Learning While Your Earning going and running strong. Listen no matter where you are planning for anything can come back and help you accomplish your life long goals and plans.

The old Boy scout’s motto has been for the last 100 years, “Be Prepared” and in life we have to come up with Ideas, Plans and Take Action To Accomplish what we truly desire.

What you can do to get yourself taking action before you jump out there today and go party with your friends and family is, to create a list of things you are looking to take action on and then make plans for the next month, year, years, to break up those plans into smaller and accomplishable daily actionable steps.

Have a great day and have some fun, again Happy Saint Patrick’s Day.

Being Lazy But Productive

Being Lazy But Productive

What Do I Mean Being Lazy but Productive?

Well recently I have noticed that I have been getting more done and not spending so much time doing the work that I used to and I have been a little lazy but productive at the same time.

As the old saying goes, “Focus on what you have in front of you at this very moment and take 1 step at a time, until you achieve that which you are aiming for”.

If you have a big project that you are working on and you only have a week or even a couple days to get it done, maybe think about outsourcing some of your work, to someone whose expertise you can rely on.

Trying to do the work all by yourself, you loose the real fact’s which you have been aiming for, I bet your wondering “What am I talking about?” Ok let’s begin by saying in less words, you want to get the project or part of the project done quickly.

You do not need for it to be pefect, this will waist time, you want to be productive, so you finish it and have someone or your assistant or edit, look it over and publish it, you can always come back to it and update it all later. Haven’t Bill Gates done this with Microsoft and wasn’t Microft the biggest software company for many years, that is until recent years Google jump into the software business as well.

But let’s not change the subject here, we are talking about being “A Lazy But Productive Worker”, This seems to be funny to some people I have spoken to over the passed couple of years. They laugh about it because they always seem to see me working and always happy, a few years ago that wasn’t the case but once you learn to come up with ideas, plans and take action on those plans. By also taking it upon yourself to Invest in yourself through the use of Time, Money and Effort, you never know what you can accomplish.

Also you do not need to be a genious but you do need to offer quality and it’s not always about quantity, we will not get into this to much either at the moment.

But plan out your day, week, year and what you desire to get done and you will be able to get it done, if you use follow up sessions. Without action nothing else can be done, simply because with ideas, plans and action, you are truly sitting idle. Also something I learned from Michael Masterson over the years has been, any action is better then no action at all.

We will cover this in more detail soon, but for now, learn to write down your problems, try to come up with solutions to those problems, see how you can solve those problems with some type of action, whether it may be in the areas of money, time, or Energy.

Make it count, we only have this day we are not guaranteed tomorrow or even later today, make everything count and learn to respect yourself and your decisions, we are all constantly learning each and everyday. Now if you can make some money while steadily improving yourself, it makes it that much more valuable.

Raise your bar in achieving your goals and you will learn, that you will reach by using the old “Time Chunking Method”. That is all about breaking up large projects into smaller projects and working on them in small blocks of time, which is definitely a great way of getting things done.

Discover Incredible Ways to Become Rich Overnight?

Discover Incredible Ways to Become Rich Overnight?

By Julio Mattos

Is this even possible to do?

I mean with all the people struggling online to make $1.00 let alone, become rich overnight.

Well of course becoming rich overnight is possible if you are thinking long-term but for short-term, you have to be honest with yourself, the headline you read to come here, was something I have picked up from many other marketers, have used to attract a lot of attention.

It has and I am not surprised, why do I say that?

Because over the years I have received tons and tons of junk mail, but it was interesting to read because it pointed out to me, that Copy better known as Copywriting, or Sales copy, which most of us see or have seen on many websites offering to sell us everything and the kitchen sink.

Ok to sum up this article tell me something, don’t you think all throughout history we have all been intrigued with headlines?

It’s because the words and the way it’s used is there to sell to us and makes it’s way to us, by peaking at what the headline is promoting or offering us.

We are all buyers and sellers of different products, no matter what we think, and no matter what we have to say about it.

Some of us deny this fact, but is it not true when you went to watch a really interesting movie, you found to be trully interesting and funny, you would tell your friends about it and or they would have told you about it, and what do you think you find yourself doing?

Of course at the theater, or renting the dvd, or getting a bootleg copy from someone, or downloading it off the internet somewhere.

The point being is you wound up going to watch the movie and it was yet, very well sold by you or your friends and or by the movie critics, and given a thumbs up or down.

You were sold the idea, you visualized it, then you bought it, because you watched it.

Think about the way words can influence you into buying and since we buy through influence anyways or through emotional reasons, it’s really hard to really truly say, why we actually bought that product or services, we just do it.

Now not to say that we are like this but more then likely we are influenced or we influence other to do things we like and or do things they enjoy doing, watching, wearing, going simply because a good story was used to peak your interest a tiny bit.

Think about this and tell yourself, truly what you seek most of all in your life and figure out what you are willing to give in order to receive what you are searching for.

Using Daily Task Lists to Accomplish Your Goals

“Productivity is never an accident. It is always the result of a commitment to excellence, intelligent planning, and focused effort.”

Paul J. Meyer

Using Daily Task Lists to Accomplish Your Goals

By Michael Masterson

I didn’t always plan my days. For most of my career, in fact, I didn’t.

I had written goals. And I referred to them regularly. My goals kept me pointed in the right direction, but I was always moving back and forth. Often for no good reason.

Driving to work in the morning, I would think about my goals. That helped motivate me and often gave me specific ideas about what tasks I should accomplish that day. I’d walk into work meaning to complete those tasks… but by the end of the day, many of them were not done.

What happened? The same thing that may be happening to you right now. You sit down at your desk, and there is a pile of new mail in your inbox. You pick up the phone, and 15 messages are waiting for you. You open your computer, and find that you’ve received 50 new e-mails since you last checked. You tell yourself that you will get to your important tasks later. Right now, you have to “clean up” all these little emergencies.

Before you know it, the day is over and you haven’t taken a single step toward achieving your important goals. You make an effort to do something, but you are tired. Tomorrow, you tell yourself, you will do better.

Does that sound familiar?

If so, don’t feel bad. You are in good company. Most people deal with their work that way. Even people who set goals and achieve them. Over the long term, they get everything done. But on a day-to-day basis, they are constantly frustrated.

You can be successful without planning your days… but you will have to work a lot longer and harder. The reason? When you don’t plan your days, you end up working for other people – not just for yourself. You feel that before you get to your own work, you should first deal with their requests.

Starting your day by clearing out your inbox, voicemail inbox, and e-mail inbox is just plain dumb. Most of what is waiting for you every morning has nothing to do with your goals and aspirations. It is work that other people want you to do for them.

If you want to be the captain of your soul and the master of your future, you have to be in charge of your time. And the best way to be in charge of your time is to structure your day around a task list that you, and only you, create.

As I said, simply writing down my goals helped me accomplish a good deal. But my productivity quadrupled when I started managing my schedule with a daily task list. If you use the system I’m going to recommend, I’ll bet you see the same improvement.

I have used many standard organizing systems over the years, but was never entirely satisfied with any of them. The system I use now is my own – based on the best of what I found elsewhere.

At the beginning of the year, I lay out my goals for the next 12 months. I ask myself “What do I need to achieve in January, February, etc. to keep myself on track?” Then, at the beginning of each month, I lay out my weekly objectives. Finally, every day, I create a very specific daily task list.

Here’s how I do it…

My Personal Daily Task List

I begin each day the day before.

What I mean by that is that I create my daily task list at the end of the prior day. I create Tuesday’s task list at the end of Monday’s workday. I create Wednesday’s at the end of Tuesday’s workday.

I begin by reviewing the current day’s list. I note which tasks I’ve done and which I have failed to do. My new list – the next day’s task list – begins with those uncompleted tasks. I then look at my weekly objectives to see if there are any other tasks that I want to add. Then I look through my inbox and decide what to do with what’s there. I may schedule some of those items for the following day. Most of them, I schedule for later or trash or redirect to someone else.

I do all this in pen on a 6″ x 9″ pad of lined paper. I divide the paper vertically to create columns for the tasks, for the time I estimate it will take to do each one, and for the actual time it takes me to complete it. I also create a column for tasks I will delegate to my assistant.

On most days, I end up with about 20 15-minute to one-hour tasks.

Here is a typical daily list.

I like doing this by hand, in pen and ink. You may prefer to do it on your computer. The point is to enjoy the process.

Because longer tasks tend to be fatiguing, I seldom schedule anything that will take more than an hour. If you have a task that will take several hours, break it up into pieces and do it over a few days. It will be easier to accomplish. Plus, you will probably do a better job because you’ll be doing it with more energy and with time to review and revise your work as you go.

A typical day for me includes two or three one-hour tasks, three or four half-hour tasks, and a dozen or so 15-minute tasks. The kind of work you do may be different, but I like that balance. It gives me flexibility. I can match my energy level throughout the day to my task list.

Ideally, you should get all of your important tasks and most of your less important tasks done almost every day. You want to accomplish a lot so you can achieve your long-term goals as quickly as possible. But you also want to feel good about yourself at the end of the day.

You may find, as I did, that when you begin using this system you will be overzealous – scheduling more tasks than you can possibly handle. So set realistic time estimates when you write down your tasks. And double-check them at the end of the day by filling in the actual time you spent on each one.

When you complete a task, scratch it off your list. One task done! On to the next one! I’ve been doing this for years, and I still get a little burst of pleasure every time.

Creating each daily task list should take you less than 15 minutes. The secret is to work from your weekly objectives – which are based on your monthly and yearly goals.

This system may not work for you, but I urge you to give it a try. I think you’ll like it.

Before your colleagues, competitors, and coworkers are even sipping their first cup of coffee, you’ll have figured out everything you need to do that day to make you healthier, wealthier, and wiser. You will know what to do, you will know what your priorities are, and you will already be thinking about some of them. You will not have to worry about forgetting something important. And you will have a strong sense of energy and excitement, confident that your day is going to be a productive one.

By Julio Mattos

This is a great piece for those out there looking to gain some clarity on using your time with More Productive Power, you projects and becoming master of your own schedule.

I have written in the past about the use of The Chunking Method, which simply is taking a large project and breaking it down into small management projects, which you take daily action on until it’s completion. By using this you can break down the “Big Project” into Smaller More Manageable Projects and using as little as 15-30 minutes of Productive action towards that particular project.

You can also go over the time need for the project, the budget necessary for it’s completion and more by looking over the overall goal of your project.

We will go into detail on this more in the future.

Also Welcome To March Madness and we are 3 months into the New Year and what have you chosen to take action on this year? How far along are you?

Let’s make clear plans by using the ideas from our brainstorming and Taking Productive Action to It’s Achievement.

Best regards,

Julio Mattos
