How To Making Money with Blogs?

Wednesday, November 14th, 2007

Making Money with Blogs.

Wow you know I have seen so many people promoting so many different information products on this topic, it seems as if their are thousands of different ways of doing so.

I must admit to myself, that it seems as if you write daily and write about topics you know and or write about things that are of interest to you, many people will come to your blog.

But of course there’s more to it then just simply bringing people to your blog and allowing them to read your daily postings, and of course there are many ways of going about setting up blogs as well, you can get the free version from many different areas on the net and also you will discover many ways of getting traffic to your site as well.

Of course not to say that it will be easy to make money from your blog, but of course you surely can if you follow some short examples that I will talk about below, it may seem simple but it’s just taking information and consolidating it to as simple as possible for you rather then going through every little detail.

What do Mr. Julio find to be very simple, is finding a topic that’s really hot right now and or has been hot and then either buying some resell rights products on that topic,  and or by creating your own products to sell to that particular niche.

So the low down Mr. Mattos believe’s in the K.I.S.S. philosophy, which basicly means Keep It Simple Silly, of course most people have different ways of saying this.

How about we give you an example from Allen Says describes a simple process here below:

Millionaire Secret.

The Warrior Group

1. Create The Site you’ve been Looking For.

2. Write Like You Would Like To Be Written To.

3. Sell Like You Would Like To Be Sold To.

4. Talk like You Would Like To Be Talked To.

5. Deal Like You Would Like To Be Dealt With.

6. Create For Others What You Would Like Created For You.

7. Excite Others The Way You Would Like To Be Excited.

Now of course this doesn’t mean that all people, will be like you, but it does help to find some solutions to your problems and by that also some solutions to other people’s problems as well.

Think about it if you do not believe me, look around on the net, a lot of people are looking to get rich quick and yet they simply buy and set up a website and expect to become rich online, literally overnight with no effort.

Now think about this, if it was that simple, without doing any work all of the people on the net will be rich right now, right?

But do you find that to be what is going on right now?

Shockingly that is not the case whatsoever, we have so much content online to read, to buy, to sell, that most of it is not really focused towards one particular niche, but is broadly talked about to everyone, but as we all know we must become specialized in something long-term.

But of course it’s also possible for you to change a lot  in your life, to help make it more simple for you, to really make an impact in your life.

We will also state here in MrJulio.com has been broad based and will also becoming more Specialized. Mr. Mattos has been busy lately working on a few different projects, which will be mentioned by the end of the month or next coming months. He has mentioned before in our updates, that he will begin the setting up of some products here to help out and that we will be making some changes to MrJulio.com blog and website as well.

Look out for some updates by the end of this week and helpful resources will be added to the sites as well, look forward to some help information. We will also be mentioning some charities that we feel strongly about as well.

What Can Innovation Do For Your Life?

What Can Innovation Do For Your Life?

It’s a talent that everyone has, yet they think they don’t. The power of innovation. If you’ve ever marvelled at somebody’s creative prowess, guess what, you can create and innovate too. It just takes time. Everyone is born creative. The box of crayons in kindergarten were not limited to those who possessed potential; because the truth is, everybody has potential.

You know how long it took to learn to ride a bike or drive or to never commit the same mistake again? It’s the same with innovation. It takes a  bit of practice and a lot of time before this mind function comes easily  when called to the surface.

This article will teach you a few tips on how to bring innovation into your life, how to use innovation to better your life.

Don’t listen to what other people say. Follow the beat of your own drum. Allowing for the input of other people, will only bring cacophony to the music you are trying to make. If you have an original idea, don’t waste your time and effort trying to make people understand. They won’t. And the help you will probably get comes in the form of negative feedback. If all those geniuses listened to their peers, we would probably still be living in the middle ages.

To Name a few of those Geniuses, Thomas Eddison, Henry Ford, etc.

Spend time on it. I cannot stress that enough, although, please do not mistake this tip to tell you to quit your day job entirely. Do not. This involves some tricky time management but with a little discipline you’ll be able to squeeze both in.

Exercise. Take a walk. Run a mile or two. Send all those endorphins coursing through your veins. Exercising certainly clears and relaxes your mind and allows for anything to pop up.

Record your dreams. Aren’t some of them just the craziest things that your conscious mind would never have thought of? If you’ve had these dreams before, and I’m sure have, this only shows you the untapped innovative power you have lying within. So jot down those notes. Those dreams may just create an innovative spark in you.

Find your own style. You can always tell a Van Gogh from a Matisse. You’ll know Hemingway wrote something by the choice of words on the paper. So it is the same with you. People will appreciate your innovation more because it is uniquely yours and that no one else would have thought of what you were thinking. That will let people see how valuable an asset you are.

Don’t hide behind nifty gadgets or tools. You don’t need the most expensive set of paints to produce a masterpiece. The same way with writing. You don’t need some expensive fountain pen and really smooth paper for a bestseller. In fact, J.K. Rowling wrote the first book of the Harry Potter Series on bits of tissue. So what if you’ve got an expensive SLR camera if you’re a crappy photographer? Who cares if you’ve got a blinging laptop if you can’t write at all? The artist actually reduces the number of tools he has as he gets better at his craft: he knows what works and what doesn’t.

Nothing will work without passion. What wakes you up in the mornings? What keeps the flame burning? What is the one thing that you’ll die if you don’t do? Sometimes people with talent are overtaken by the people who want it more. Think the hare and the tortoise. Ellen Degeneres once said that if you’re not doing something that you want to do, then you don’t really want to do it. And that’s true. Sometimes you just want something so bad you become a virtual unstoppable. And that is passion. Passion will keep you going.

Don’t worry about inspiration. You can’t force it; inspiration hits when you least expect it to, for those unpredictable yet inevitable moments you should prepare. An idea could strike you on the subway, yet alas, you poor unfortunate soul; you have no sheet of paper to scribble down a thought that could change the world. Avoid these disasters. Have a pen and paper within your arm’s reach at all times.

I hope this article has helped you bring more innovation into your life. Keep in mind that you’re doing these things for your own satisfaction and not anybody else’s. But soon enough they will notice, and everything should snowball from there.

Thunder Strikes the Real Estate and Mortgage Markets

Thunder Strikes the Real Estate and Mortgage Markets

Wow can you believe the way that all the news has been going this year about the real estate and mortgage industries being bad.

Now this has a lot of investors, first home buyers, sellers, the consumers and everybdy else having mixed views on their futures. There has been crossroads of professionals, analysts, researchers, business investors, seeking answers and throwing all these numbers and advice and all these theories around, about the real estate market, mortgage industry, the fed is talking about one thing, all the feedback going around most do not know what to believe.

Now this is mostly coming from sources that a lot of people tend to read such as, the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, LA Times, Chronicle, of course this is all offline, that I have read lately. Of course if we looked online you would see many and I do many more people talking about it, everywhere. Blogs, Real Estate Associations, cross the board everyone is pretty confused, but it seems that not only is the real estate market taking a hit but also the stock market as well, even though usually it’s one or the other.

Recently in the New York Times there was an article talking about Citibank was putting aside $100 Billion Dollars to help deal with this problem, of course this was only one bank since Citibank  is one of the top US Banks. Now this is here in the USA and this is not only effecting us here in the United States but also internationally, we have watched the World Bank also make preparations and trying to come up with solutions to there problems over in Europe.

You know I have been following this over the last passed few months and have watched some realtors and brokers, investors, analysts, all saying different things, some of it is good news and then others it’s bad news. Even with all of this bad news it seems like a lot of people are worried that if we are going to have a recession or if we are just battling through some brief storms that are mixing things up for us, but everyone is currently sitting around worrying if it’s going to be change in what’s beeing talked about and if solutions are being prepared.

We will all have to watch and see what happens, all in all, we are watching the Thunder hit all markets currently. Some investors recently on a conference call last week, said that even though all the news around in various places seems to be all bad news, in other places it’s not effecting them whatsoever and here in the Bay Area some places have been hit a little and others not that much.

We will keep you posted and have a few more articles coming your way here soon, even with all of this confusion taking place currently, we have seen time and time again that real estate has been the best investment to invest in over long haul.

Keep looking for your dream home, also right now more then ever you will be able to find some awesome deals from sellers, looking to get rid of there homes. I have spoke to some realtors and brokers this past couple weeks and they have still been saying that some areas are more effected then others and the different priced markets are also seeing slow offers coming in and in the higher priced homes they are seeing more offers and seeing that some homes are sold for  much more then the selling prices.

Even though with all of this real estate news, other people are concerned about the local environments such as floods, fires, Tornadoes. This of course is very important when looking for your home as well because you wouldn’t want to pay a $1,000,000 for a house, that tomorrow would burn down or have a earthquake hit. Please consider all options when looking for that home of your dreams or just a starter home.

Let’s hope that all this confusion is cleared up in the coming weeks, months ahead. I look forward to better and cooler news about the economy as well.

Learn How To Start Taking Control, 10 Steps To Start Taking Control

Monday, November 12th, 2007

How To Start Taking Control, 10 Steps To Start Taking Control

“Who’s the Boss?”

(Time Management, Goal Setting, Record Keeping.)

At first glance, it would seem that positive thinking and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) have nothing to do with one another. But many of us with ADD develop negative thinking patterns because we become frustrated by our challenges and frequent feelings of being overwhelmed. This negative outlook then makes it even harder for us to manage those challenges and move forward.

Practicing positive thinking allows people with ADD to focus on our strengths and accomplishments, which increases happiness and motivation. This, in turn, allows us to spend more time making progress, and less time feeling down and stuck. The following tips provide practical suggestions that you can use to help you shift into more positive thinking patterns:

1. Take Good Care of Yourself
It’s much easier to be positive when you are eating well, exercising, and getting enough rest.

2. Remind Yourself of the Things You Are Grateful For
Stresses and challenges don’t seem quite as bad when you are constantly reminding yourself of the things that are right in life. Taking just 60 seconds a day to stop and appreciate the good things will make a huge difference.

3. Look for the Proof Instead of Making Assumptions
A fear of not being liked or accepted sometimes leads us to assume that we know what others are thinking, but our fears are usually not reality. If you have a fear that a friend or family member’s bad mood is due to something you did, or that your co-workers are secretly gossiping about you when you turn your back, speak up and ask them. Don’t waste time worrying that you did something wrong unless you have proof that there is something to worry about.

4. Refrain from Using Absolutes
Have you ever told a partner “You’re ALWAYS late!” or complained to a friend “You NEVER call me!”? Thinking and speaking in absolutes like ‘always’ and ‘never’ makes the situation seem worse than it is, and programs your brain into believing that certain people are incapable of delivering.

5. Detach From Negative Thoughts
Your thoughts can’t hold any power over you if you don’t judge them. If you notice yourself having a negative thought, detach from it, witness it, and don’t follow it.

6. Squash the “ANTs”
In his book “Change Your Brain, Change Your Life,” Dr. Daniel Amen talks about “ANTs” - Automatic Negative Thoughts. These are the bad thoughts that are usually reactionary, like “Those people are laughing, they must be talking about me,” or “The boss wants to see me? It must be bad!” When you notice these thoughts, realize that they are nothing more than ANTs and squash them!

7. Practice Lovin’, Touchin’ & Squeezin’ (Your Friends and Family)
You don’t have to be an expert to know the benefits of a good hug. Positive physical contact with friends, loved ones, and even pets, is an instant pick-me-up. One research study on this subject had a waitress touch some of her customers on the arm as she handed them their checks. She received higher tips from these customers than from the ones she didn’t touch!

8. Increase Your Social Activity
By increasing social activity, you decrease loneliness. Surround yourself with healthy, happy people, and their positive energy will affect you in a positive way!

9. Volunteer for an Organization, or Help another Person
Everyone feels good after helping. You can volunteer your time, your money, or your resources. The more positive energy you put out into the world, the more you will receive in return.

10. Use Pattern Interrupts to Combat Rumination
If you find yourself ruminating, a great way to stop it is to interrupt the pattern and force yourself to do something completely different. Rumination is like hyper-focus on something negative. It’s never productive, because it’s not rational or solution-oriented, it’s just excessive worry. Try changing your physical environment - go for a walk or sit outside. You could also call a friend, pick up a book, or turn on some music.

When it comes to the corporate world, protocol is pretty much the religion. To know the things needed to do are the basics of productivity, but interaction and having a steady mind makes up the entire thing to true productivity. There are those who seem to work well even under pressure, but they’re uncommon ones and we are human and imperfect. To get these little things like stress under our skins won’t solve our problems. Sometimes it takes a bit of courage to admit that we’re turning to be workaholics than tell ourselves that we’re not doing our best.

We must also realize that even if you have day to day problems, we must enjoy each day to the fullest, realize that we must have a balance in both our personal and business lives.

Why Coaching is the Way to Go in Team Management

Sunday, November 11th, 2007

Why Coaching is the Way to Go in Team Management
When you hear the word “coach”, what comes first into your mind? Do you picture a basketball team with a man/woman shouting out directions? Or perhaps a football team with a man/woman pacing to and fro and calling out the names of the players?

Coaching is no longer reserved to sports teams; it is now one of the key concepts in leadership and management. Why is coaching popular?

Coaching levels the playing field.

Coaching is one of the six emotional leadership styles proposed by Daniel Goleman. Moreover, it is a behavior or role that leaders enforce in the context of situational leadership. As a leadership style, coaching is used when the members of a group or team are competent and motivated, but do not have an idea of the long-term goals of an organization. This involves two levels of coaching: team and individual. Team coaching makes members work together. In a group of individuals, not everyone may have nor share the same level of competence and commitment to a goal. A group may be a mix of highly competent and moderately competent members with varying levels of commitment. These differences can cause friction among the members. The coaching leader helps the members level their expectations. Also, the coaching leader manages differing perspectives so that the common goal succeeds over personal goals and interests. In a big organization, leaders need to align the staffs’ personal values and goals with that of the organization so that long-term directions can be pursued.

Coaching builds up confidence and competence.

Individual coaching is an example of situational leadership at work. It aims to mentor one-on-one building up the confidence of members by affirming good performance during regular feedbacks; and increase competence by helping the member assess his/her strengths and weaknesses towards career planning and professional development. Depending on the individual’s level of competence and commitment, a leader may exercise more coaching behavior for the less-experienced members. Usually, this happens in the case of new staffs. The direct supervisor gives more defined tasks and holds regular feedbacks for the new staff, and gradually lessens the amount of coaching, directing, and supporting roles to favor delegating as competence and confidence increase.

Coaching promotes individual and team excellence.

Excellence is a product of habitual good practice. The regularity of meetings and constructive feedback is important in establishing habits. Members catch the habit of constantly assessing themselves for their strengths and areas for improvement that they themselves perceive what knowledge, skills, and attitudes they need to acquire to attain team goals. In the process, they attain individually excellence as well. An example is in the case of a musical orchestra: each member plays a different instrument. In order to achieve harmony of music from the different instrument, members will polish their part in the piece, aside from practicing as an ensemble. Consequently, they improve individually as an instrument player.

Coaching develops high commitment to common goals.

A coaching leader balances the attainment of immediate targets with long-term goals towards the vision of an organization. As mentioned earlier, with the alignment of personal goals with organizational or team goals, personal interests are kept in check. By constantly communicating the vision through formal and informal conversations, the members are inspired and motivated. Setting short-term team goals aligned with organizational goals; and making an action plan to attain these goals can help sustain the increased motivation and commitment to common goals of the members.

Coaching produces valuable leaders.

Leadership by example is important in coaching. A coaching leader loses credibility when he/she cannot practice what he/she preaches. This means that a coaching leader should be well organized, highly competent is his/her field, communicates openly and encourages feedback, and has a clear idea of the organization’s vision-mission-goals. By vicarious and purposive learning, members catch the same good practices and attitudes from the coaching leader, turning them into coaching leaders themselves. If a member experiences good coaching, he/she is most likely to do the same things when entrusted with formal leadership roles.

Some words of caution though: coaching is just one of the styles of leadership. It can be done in combination with the other five emotional leadership styles depending on the profile of the emerging team. Moreover, coaching as a leadership style requires that you are physically, emotionally, and mentally fit most of the time since it involves two levels of coaching: individual and team. Your members expect you to be the last one to give up or bail out in any situation especially during times of crises. A coaching leader must be conscious that coaching entails investing time on each individual, and on the whole team. Moreover, that the responsibilities are greater since while you are coaching members, you are also developing future coaches as well.

Is Impossible Just a Word or More?

Is Impossible Just a Word or More?

Everyone, at some point of his or her life, has dreamed of being somebody special, somebody big. Who hasn’t fantasized about being the one who hits the game-winning homer? Who hasn’t dreamed of being the homecoming queen? And how many times have we dreamed of being rich, or successful, or happy with our relationships?

Often, we dream big dreams and have great aspirations. Unfortunately, our dreams remain just that – dreams. And our aspirations easily collect dust in our attic.

This is a sad turn of events in our life. Instead of experiencing exciting adventures in self actualization, we get caught up in the humdrum of living from day-to-day just barely existing.

But you know what? Life could be so much better, if only we learned to aim higher.

The most common problem to setting goals is the word impossible. Most people get hung up thinking I can’t do this. It’s too hard. It’s too impossible. No one can do this.

However, if everyone thought that, there would be no inventions, no innovations, and no breakthroughs in human accomplishment.

Remember that scientists were baffled when they took a look at the humble bumblebee. Theoretically, they said, it was impossible for the bumblebee to fly. Unfortunately for the bumble, bee no one has told it so. So fly it does.

On the other hand, some people suffer from dreaming totally outrageous dreams and not acting on them. The result? Broken dreams, and tattered aspirations.

If you limit yourself with self-doubt, and self-limiting assumptions, you will never be able to break past what you deem impossible. If you reach too far out into the sky without working towards your goal, you will find yourself clinging on to the impossible dream.

Try this exercise. Take a piece of paper and write down some goals in your life. Under one header, list down things ‘you know you can do’. Under another header, write the things ‘you might be able to do.’ And under one more, list the things that that are ‘impossible for you to do.’

Now look at all the headers strive every day to accomplish the goals that are under things ‘you know you can do’. Check them when you are able to accomplish them. As you slowly are able to check all of your goals under that heading, try accomplishing the goals under the other header-the one that reads ‘you might be able to do.’

As of the items you wrote under things I could do are accomplished, you can move the goals that are under things that are ‘impossible for you to do’ to the list of things ‘you might be able to do.’

As you iterate through this process, you will find out that the goals you thought were impossible become easier to accomplish. And the impossible begin to seem possible after all.

You see, the technique here is not to limit your imagination. It is to aim high, and start working towards that goal little by little. However, it also is unwise to set a goal that is truly unrealistic.

Those who just dream towards a goal without working hard end up disappointed and disillusioned.

On the other hand, if you told someone a hundred years ago that it was possible for man to be on the moon, they would laugh at you. If you had told them that you could send mail from here to the other side of the world in a few seconds, they would say you were out of your mind. But, through sheer desire and perseverance, these impossible dreams are now realities.

Thomas Edison once said that genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. Nothing could be truer. For one to accomplish his or her dreams, there has to be had work and discipline. But take note that that 1% has to be a think-big dream, and not some easily accomplished one.

Ask any gym rat and he or she will tell you that there can be no gains unless you are put out of your comfort zone. Remember the saying, “No pain, no gain”? That is as true as it can be.

So dream on, friend! Don’t get caught up with your perceived limitations. Think big and work hard to attain those dreams. As you step up the ladder of progress, you will just about find out that the impossible has just become a little bit more possible.

Dealing with these things will be a never ending battle and where ever you are in your life we will have to deal with them, so take some time today to write a list, of things that are currently bothering you, then brainstorm on some solutions to these problems.

For far to long we have let everything just be in thought form and we have not taken the action necessary for us to accomplish the tasks that we must deal with on a day to day basis. But now let’s go forward and take the Leap to Action that will change us from sitting Idle to A World Dreamer Action Achiever.

Have a great day, live today as if it is your last, if this day were the last day in your book that we call life, what would it say?

Would it say something like “I have failed much and succeeded much, but this day I have achieved nothing and I am deep in debt and I have passed on with nothing to offer, the family and friends who I have left behind, who has to take money out of there pocket to pay for my funeral because I did nothing and I didn’t plan for nothing, I allowed fear, greed, and a whole lot more to deepen the blow to my life to the point that I did not ever accomplish, what I really wanted to accomplish, because I did not take any action and didn’t plan for anything.”

Please think about that for a moment, the next time you look to make up an excuse, Mr. Julio has seen and done a lot of things that has cause him to change his view on life, as he will explain soon in some brief articles he has written, he asked to hold off on posting them just yet.

Have a wonderful weekend, we are off to go and enjoy the rest of today, and plan for the weekend.

Best regards,

Either To Go or Not to Go Herbal, that is the Question?

Monday, November 5th, 2007

To Go or Not to Go Herbal, that is the Question?

Many people nowadays are turning to “organics” and “naturals” otherwise known as herbals. The rising popularity of herbal supplements has created a new fad if not a new health lifestyle. But before you join the bandwagon, here are some things you need to know about this mean, “green” dietary supplementing machine.

What is the difference between a drug and a dietary supplement?

According to the definition set by food and drug administrations in different countries, drugs are chemicals that can prevent, prolong the life, treat other effects of a health condition, improve the quality of life, and/or cure ailments and diseases, or alter the function of any part or chemicals inside the body. These drugs have approved therapeutic claims. For example, paracetamol is a drug given to bring down the body temperature in fever. Ascorbic acid is indicated for the treatment of scurvy. Iron supplements are given to treat mild cases of anemia.

Herbal supplements are not classified as drugs but as dietary supplements. The main difference is that they do not have approved therapeutic claims unlike in the case of drugs. Moreover, dietary supplements could either contain vitamins, minerals, herbals, or amino acids, all aimed to add to or supplement the diet of an individual. They are not intended to be taken alone as a substitute to any food or medicine.

Most of the manufactured medicines we now have once came from animals and plants. Through the years, chemists isolated the life-saving or life-curing components and separated them from the harmful ones. This lead to the further drug research and drug development that lead to the production of a different variety of drugs for many ailments and conditions from synthetic sources. But still we have semi-synthetic drugs, as well as drug that more or less approximate more natural composition. Since herbal supplements are made from a mixture of crude herbs reduced into powder or gel form, and later on packaged as tablets and capsules, there is a possibility that life-threatening or at least body chemistry-altering components are still present, thus the expression of concern from the medical community.

Is there a growing concern with the use of herbal supplements?

Yes. With the rising popularity of using and consuming anything herbal or organic is the proliferation of fake herbal supplements that threaten to endanger lives. If that’s the case, then why are herbal supplements given drug administration approvals? One way of ensuring the safety of the people is to have all candidate drugs, food, drinks, and dietary supplements registered with the proper authority. Otherwise, they would pose more risk with these things being sold in the black market for a hefty sum. We could ensure the quality and safety of herbal supplements if they get proper classification with the food and drug administration. Moreover, people may be able to file the proper complaints in the event a worsening of health condition is proven to be linked to the use of a particular herbal supplement.

Is using herbal supplements worth the risk?

Yes. It cannot be discounted that many who have tried herbal supplements experienced an improvement in their health—whether this is due to the herbals themselves or due to a placebo effect, as long as they do not worsen the condition of an individual, then using them is worth the risk. But of course, certain things must be considered before taking those herbal supplements:

Your doctor knows best.

First of all, clear your condition with your doctor. Ask him/her if taking a particular herbal supplement is safe given your health condition. People with heart, liver, or kidney trouble or malfunction, are usually not advised to take these, or at the minimum is to take these herbals in minimum amounts. All substances pass through the liver and kidney to be processed and filtered respectively. Kava, which is used to relieve people from stress, has been pulled out from the Canadian, Singaporean, and German markets because it contains substances that cause liver damage. Certain herbals such as Ephedra used for losing weight, contains chemicals with heart-inducing effects that can increase heart rate, which in turn can exhaust the heart and cause heart attacks in several documented cases by the American Medical Association.

Follow the directions for use.

Never take more herbal supplements than what is directed by the doctor or as instructed on the bottle. Each individual reacts differently to the components of herbal supplements. While it is perfectly safe for one individual to take in a supplement of primrose oil capsules, another person may be allergic to it. So, do not even think about downing one bottle of it, if it has no approved curative effect.

No matter how the product pamphlet or the label of the bottle sounds about how it has been found to be helpful in certain health conditions, these herbal supplements are not therapeutic. So do not substitute these for the medications prescribed by your doctor for the treatment of certain diseases, or for the maintenance of blood pressure, lowering of blood sugar and cholesterol, and fight off infections.

Marketing in a traditional sense has always been done by putting an ad either in the newspaper, the radio and the television.

Being in the digital age, efforts done by marketing to get the message across is not that different. It has just become a little more high tech which continues to help drive sales.

Businesses that want to sell something in the market need 2 things. The first is the product to be sold which later on will be distributed. The second is marketing which is the vehicle that is used to carry that message across to the consumer so that people are aware of its existence then it is purchased.

One way of the fastest ways of doing marketing today is building a website. Should one decide to shift and decide to do this, here are some tips one needs to know to get started.

1. The first thing to do is to determine what the person wants to do. The product has to fill a need that the customers want right now. It should provide a solution of some kind that will make that will improve the quality of life either at home or at work.

2. The next is to do the proper research. If the business is done with a group of people or a single proprietorship, it is best to brainstorm for the best domain name for the business. It should be catchy and will easily be remembered by people. Given that there are probably other people who have been in the business longer and that it is possible that the domain name has already been taken, it is best to think of several names in case it can no longer be used.

There are sites in the web that have search engines to look for a specific subject and using popular keywords for ones website will easily help people find it. These sites also allow one to make a site map which can be downloaded in minutes for a small fee.

Another good example is the various email sites and by doing a tie-up with these companies, one can get exposure as well as free service since people who do not have an account can also sign up and be an active member.

3. A product of good quality should be sold at a decent price. Sometimes, the product one makes is already available in the market. To be competitive, one must figure out a way to convince people as to why this product is better than the other leading brands available. What features does it have that the competitor doesn’t? What makes it unique which is not only about the product on hand but the service that this can give as well?

4. Just like having a normal business, one must acquire the right equipment and machines for the job. These could be merchandise that is either physical or electronic and an online ordering system.

To be successful, one should be sure that the goods that a customer will order can be delivered on time. If there are any problems, a customer support staff or system should be ready to cater to that.

5. It takes money to make more money so one should be careful with what needs to be spent. By putting in tight controls in terms of expenditures and keeping track of the current balance while maintaining the same level of quality saves money which can be used for other things.

To avoid falling in this predicament, the first thing one must do is manage the expenses. It is always good to carry a notebook around to log whatever expenses have been made or have a logbook to keep track how much balance is left. That way, a person can stay within a budget on a monthly basis.

6. With everything in place, it is now time to promote the site. One can email to friends about the site and what it offers then this too will also be forwarded and advertised to others. Another is showcasing ones website in E-zines or electronic magazines to get more customer traffic.

Any business big or small must have the right resources available to get the message across to the people and building a web site or a site map takes time. One can do it alone if that person knows how to do it, get professional help or simply start from the basics and learn it from the ground up.

Friday Stories and Friday Fun, November 2, 2007

Happy Friday to you out there.

For some people Friday means a lot and to others it’s a Friday everyday when you work for yourself, not for all freelancers and small business builders, whose currently working to improve their sales and grow their companies. But it’s also time when you get to spend with your family and friends and to what you feel like doing.

For some of us on weekends or even through the week we usually, take some kind of training. Usually I try to improve my marketing and sales skills each and every day, so that I can increase the amount of sales goals I have on a weekly basis.

As for the fun part of things this weekend I will be going dancing, do a little work and hang out with some friends. Then of course run some errands, upload some software and do some marketing.

Look so what are you doing this weekend? Are you doing something fun and exciting, even if it has to do with just watching some movie at the local theator or spending time with your family. Do something fun where ever you are in the world. A dose of fun and laughter will be enough to move mountains, also while you are having fun think of solutions towards improving your current lifestyle.

Not only will I be having fun this weekend, I will also be planning and coming up with solutions to my current problems, which are Becoming more healthier, increasing my wealth, wisdom, Repay favors and debts that I owe. Things like these are always fun but not having the additional funds in your pocket can be a total drain on your energy. But of course the more creative you become on your business journey the more better off you will be. By that I mean increasing your sales, working more productively, setting up plans, taking the proper action necessary to achieve your daily, weekly, monthly, yearly goals, problems.

I feel that if you are always looking to better yourself and to create solutions to the problems that are on your table, bothering you currently, you best also plan long term because if you do not and only plan for the short term. Then lets simply say that you only currently creating short term solutions to your problems and will on merely get by and remain in your current level of existence today and not preparing for tomorrow. I also realize that some of us, we believe in living in the here and now do not plan for tomorrow, I suppose that’s why these folks remain where they are and never achieve more then living paycheck to paycheck status.

I love being spontaneous and enjoy, taking an charted course on the road to something unplanned, but I also like having plans because I have watched myself become to entangled into way to many projects and or to many dinner offers, friends looking to hangout. Well I am pretty sure you catch my drift what I mean.

That’s why it’s better to be fully in control of your time, energy, money. Always look to better yourself and take the action necessary and you will get what you want. But always under all circumstances realize, that if you do not complete a task that you set for yourself today, then you slack then you will slack now and in the future.

Let succeed and enjoy our lives to the fullest, by bettering ourselves iin our personal and our business lives.

All the best have a great day and enjoy your weekend.
