Enjoy Your Life Regardless of What Happens: Change Your Point of View

“Two men look out through the same bars: One sees the mud, and one sees the stars.”- Frederick Langbridge, A Cluster of Quiet Thoughts

If you’ve placed second in a writing contest, will you jump for joy and push for better results the next time or will you be discouraged and find an excuse not to join again?

In life, you are always filled with choices. You may opt to have a pessimist’s view and live a self-defeated life or you may decide to take the optimist’s route and take a challenging and fulfilling life.

So why nurture an optimist’s point of view? And why now?

Well, optimism has been linked to positive mood and good morale; to academic, athletic, military, occupational and political success; to popularity; to good health and even to long life and freedom from trauma.

On the other hand, the rates of depression and pessimism have never been higher. It affects middle-aged adults the same way it hits younger people. The mean age of onset has gone from 30 to 15. It is no longer a middle-aged housewife’s disorder but also a teen-ager’s disorder’ as well.

Here’s how optimists are in action and researches that back up why it really pays to be an optimist:

Optimists expect the best

The defining characteristic of pessimists is that they tend to believe bad events, which will last a long time and undermine everything they do, are their own fault.

The truth is optimists are confronted with the same hard knocks of this world. What differs is the way they explain their misfortune—it’s the opposite way. They tend to believe defeat is just a temporary setback, that its causes are confined to this one case.

Optimists tend to focus on and plan for the ‘problem’ at hand. They use ‘positive reinterpretation.’ In other words, they most likely reinterpret a negative experience in a way that helps them learn and grow. Such people are unfazed by bad situation, they perceive it is a challenge and try harder.

They won’t say “things will never get better,” “If I failed once, it will happen again” and “If I experience misfortune in one part of my life, then it will happen in my whole life.”

Positive expectancies of optimists also predict better reactions during transitions to new environments, sudden tragedies and unlikely turn of events. If they fall, they will stand up. They see opportunities instead of obstacles.

People respond positively to optimists

Optimists are proactive and less dependent on others for their happiness. They find no need to control or manipulate people. They usually draw people towards them. Their optimistic view of the world can be contagious and influence those they are with.

Optimism seems a socially desirable trait in all communities. Those who share optimism are generally accepted while those who spread gloom, panic and hysteria are treated unfavorably.

In life, these people often win elections; get voted most congenial and sought for advice.

When the going gets tough, optimists get tougher.

Optimists typically maintain higher levels of subjective well-being during times of stress than do people who are less optimistic. In contrast, pessimists are likely to react to stressful events by denying that they exist or by avoiding dealing with problems. Pessimists are more likely to quit trying when difficulties arise.

They persevere. They just don’t give up easily, they are also known for their patience. Inching their way a step closer to that goal or elusive dream.

Optimists are healthier and live longer.

Medical research has justified that simple pleasures and a positive outlook can cause a measurable increase in the body’s ability to fight disease.

Optimists’ health is unusually good. They age well, much freer than most people from the usual physical ills of middle age. And they get to outlive those prone to negative thoughts.

So why not be an optimist today? And think positively towards a more fulfilled life.

Why not look forward to success in all your endeavors? Why not be resilient? Like everybody else you are bound to hit lows sometimes but don’t just stay there. Carry yourself out of the mud and improve your chances of getting back on the right track. And why not inspire others to remove their dark-colored glasses and see life in the bright side?

Spiritual Growth Challenge: The Spiritual Challenge of Modern Times

Spiritual Growth Challenge: The Spiritual Challenge of Modern Times
To grow spiritually in a world defined by power, money, and influence is a Herculean task. Modern conveniences such as electronic equipments, gadgets, and tools as well as entertainment through television, magazines, and the web have predisposed us to confine our attention mostly to physical needs and wants. As a result, our concepts of self-worth and self-meaning are muddled. How can we strike a balance between the material and spiritual aspects of our lives?

To grow spiritually is to look inward.

Introspection goes beyond recalling the things that happened in a day, week, or month. You need to look closely and reflect on your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and motivations. Periodically examining your experiences, the decisions you make, the relationships you have, and the things you engage in provide useful insights on your life goals, on the good traits you must sustain and the bad traits you have to discard. Moreover, it gives you clues on how to act, react, and conduct yourself in the midst of any situation. Like any skill, introspection can be learned; all it takes is the courage and willingness to seek the truths that lie within you. Here are some pointers when you introspect: be objective, be forgiving of yourself, and focus on your areas for improvement.

To grow spiritually is to develop your potentials.

Religion and science have differing views on matters of the human spirit. Religion views people as spiritual beings temporarily living on Earth, while science views the spirit as just one dimension of an individual. Mastery of the self is a recurring theme in both Christian (Western) and Islamic (Eastern) teachings. The needs of the body are recognized but placed under the needs of the spirit. Beliefs, values, morality, rules, experiences, and good works provide the blueprint to ensure the growth of the spiritual being. In Psychology, realizing one’s full potential is to self-actualize. Maslow identified several human needs: physiological, security, belongingness, esteem, cognitive, aesthetic, self-actualization, and self-transcendence. James earlier categorized these needs into three: material, emotional, and spiritual. When you have satisfied the basic physiological and emotional needs, spiritual or existential needs come next. Achieving each need leads to the total development of the individual. Perhaps the difference between these two religions and psychology is the end of self-development: Christianity and Islam see that self-development is a means toward serving God, while psychology view that self-development is an end by itself.

To grow spiritually is to search for meaning.

Religions that believe in the existence of God such as Christianism, Judaism, and Islam suppose that the purpose of the human life is to serve the Creator of all things. Several theories in psychology propose that we ultimately give meaning to our lives. Whether we believe that life’s meaning is pre-determined or self-directed, to grow in spirit is to realize that we do not merely exist. We do not know the meaning of our lives at birth; but we gain knowledge and wisdom from our interactions with people and from our actions and reactions to the situations we are in. As we discover this meaning, there are certain beliefs and values that we reject and affirm.  Our lives have purpose. This purpose puts all our physical, emotional, and intellectual potentials into use; sustains us during trying times; and gives us something to look forward to—a goal to achieve, a destination to reach. A person without purpose or meaning is like a drifting ship at sea.

To grow spiritually is to recognize interconnections.

Religions stress the concept of our relatedness to all creation, live and inanimate. Thus we call other people “brothers and sisters” even if there are no direct blood relations. Moreover, deity-centered religions such as Christianity and Islam speak of the relationship between humans and a higher being. On the other hand, science expounds on our link to other living things through the evolution theory. This relatedness is clearly seen in the concept of ecology, the interaction between living and non-living things. In psychology, connectedness is a characteristic of self-transcendence, the highest human need according to Maslow. Recognizing your connection to all things makes you more humble and respectful of people, animals, plants, and things in nature. It makes you appreciate everything around you. It moves you to go beyond your comfort zone and reach out to other people, and become stewards of all other things around you.

Growth is a process thus to grow in spirit is a day-to-day encounter. We win some, we lose some, but the important thing is that we learn, and from this knowledge, further spiritual growth is made possible.

10 Inspirational Quotes To Help Improve Yourself :”Life With Woody”

Monday, November 26th, 2007

Discover How 10 Inspirational Quotes Can Help Improve Yourself “Life With Woody”

It might take a little coffee or probably a few rounds of beer or any other booze you could get your hands on when it comes to relaxing after a hard day’s work. Well, yeah I’m guilty about that one as well, unless I’m caught dead wearing a lampshade over my head after a few rounds of vodka… half-naked! Okay, bad example and I apologize to everyone reading this after getting nightmares about me in that state of drunken stupor.

Just don’t ask how it happened, please.

But what’s really interesting is that how do people go through the usual part of life when faced with vein-popping stress? I mean, the new age thing like Zen or yoga is one of the good things and it actually works. Is there room for the intellectual side of people who can actually smell the roses-in-a-can while on the move? It kind of had me thinking that there really must be something in this ‘mind-over-matter’ thing.

Humor is indeed the best medicine there is whenever you are. I mean anyone can pay good money to listen to a comedian just to make you wet your pants after laughing so hard. Despite of what’s been happening, and to those who has gone though the ordeal, it’s better to just laugh while facing the troubles with a clear mind than anger with a clouded vision. One of my favorite celebrities of all time may have to be Woody Allen. Now this is one guy who gives you the in-your-face bluntness that he pulls out with gusto, even without even trying. You can talk just about anything with a man, and he’s bound to mock the subject and you’ll end up laughing rather than being upset about it.

Woody Allen has this to say:

1. “Money is better than poverty, if only for financial reasons.” It sounds good to me, I mean the practicality of all things does involve money but it doesn’t have to take an arm and a leg to get it.

2. “I believe there is something out there watching us. Unfortunately, it’s the government.” ‘Nuff said.

3. “There are worse things in life than death. Have you ever spent an evening with an insurance salesman?” This happens to be one of the classic ones. I mean the issue about life’s little problems isn’t all that bad, until ‘he’ shows up.

Sure, relationships can get complicated, or does have its complications that probably any author about relationships is bound to discover it soon. We follow what our heart desires, unless you’re talking about the heart as in the heart that pump blood throughout your body.

4. “Love is the answer, but while you’re waiting for the answer, sex raises some pretty interesting questions.” And if you want more, just keep on asking!

5. “A fast word about oral contraception. I asked a girl to go to bed with me, she said ‘no’.” It sounds, ‘practical’, I think.

And when it comes to everyday life, he really knows how to make the best out of every possible scenario, and it doesn’t involve a lawsuit if he strikes a nerve.

6. “Basically my wife was immature. I’d be at home in the bath and she’d come in and sink my boats.” I never had a boat in my bathtub before. Just staring at it while soaking in hot water makes me seasick already.

7. “I am not afraid of death, I just don’t want to be there when it happens.” If it rains, it pours.

8. “I am thankful for laughter, except when milk comes out of my nose.” It could get worse when you’re guzzling on beer… or mouthwash, and it happened to me once!

9. “If you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans.” At least he doesn’t smite us with lightning, and I’m thankful for that.

And despite of what may happen to all of us in the next ten, twenty, or even thirty years, I guess we all have to see things in a different kind of light and not just perspective. I can’t seem to imagine life without any piece of wisdom that could guide us. Whether we’re religious or not, it takes more courage to accept your fears and learn how to deal with them is all that matters when it comes to even just getting along.

And to sum things up, here is the last nugget of wisdom to go by… however, whenever, and wherever we may be.

10. “The talent for being happy is appreciating and liking what you have, instead of what you don’t have.”

How Many Deals Did You See in Your Imbox Today?

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

How Many Deals Did You See in Your Imbox Today?

You know yesterday I wrote an article talking about shopping and what I had seen yesterday.

Well this week I have done quite a bit. I will be brief.

I went to a fashion show here at one of the local clubs, I did some errands as usual, worked on my business, made some phone calls and text message family and friends. Then of course had some fun and did some relaxing, workout at the gym, slept a little late. Oh let me not forget I ate a lot this week and thank goodness too, I needed to gain a little more weight…lol… I burned it right back off by going dancing and exercising a little bit.

Ok, so I check my emails  of course I have more then one and I have counted numerous holiday offers, of course every year I see these deals and discounts and then I figured why not, put some products together and package them up more major End of year sale.

So I am putting together a big deal for you by the end of the month and will launched on December 1st, 2007 and will go until the end of the year. So please look out this package should be pretty good and of course it will take a little time to put together this package and contact a few people for some favors, but we will see what we come up with.

Ok so back to the How Many Deals Did You See in Your Imbox Today? I most likely seen a good maybe 50 or more deals and discount offers from a variety of places. Most of them until midnight tonight Saturday and others 11:59pm Sunday Eastern Standard time. So you either take action and or miss out on these deals.

Well over the past I would say 6 years or so I have take advantage of most of these deals, spent thousands of dollars and went through the packages, but then found myself overwhelmed with all of the packages, I did not plan to have so much and the sales copy made it so irresistable that I just had to buy it. Now when you put the plans, systems, strategies into action then the package is comopletely worth it and other times, what most people do is look over just a little bit of it and then allow that fear factor to jump into their laps and then take over and tell you to put it on the shelf and go have fun. We will come back to it another day, then we say another day, and well you get my point, a month goes by or even 6 months and you find yourself telling yourself today I will take some action to better myself and that of my life.

Then we take a little bit of action and then bam, you get a knock on the door, you go to answer it and he tell’s you, “Hey, guess Who?” and you answer Who is it? and you look through your peak hole and you see nobody and so you open the door and you get a snowball in your face. Of course guess who threw the first snow Mrs. Procrastion and her twin brother Fear. They are here to help you out right? Wrong they are here to confuse, delay you, to cause you to tell yourself just one more day and then we will take action but you never do.

Does this sound familiar?

Let’s get going on our “Taking Daily Action” no matter if it’s just 15 minutes each day, look you are taking action, but what if you took action by writing out some plans, then coming up with some helpful solutions to whatever problems you are currently having, then Taking the Necesary ACTION to achieve your plans. Then guess what you will no longer be stuck where you were because you took a little bit of productive action, that has changed your previous situation and now you are ready to change gears in your life, by creating Good Daily Habits.

All these deals taking place right now offering you killer Information, tips, New strategies to incorporate into your business, you must first check to see do you even have a business? If you do, are you currently usings the tools you already have on your desk? Do you find yourself steadily buying but not implementing what you currently have on your desk?

Why Not? Why Are You Steadily being an Opportunity Seeker? When in fact you are seriously becoming a junk collector, not to say that the products you are buying are junk, because I invest heavily into new products and software and services to make my business stand out.

The fact is you spending all of this money on things, that are bigger, telling that it’s best new thing to ever hit whatever particular niche you aiming at, and you are told there is nothing else like it in the marketplace. Maybe that’s true but let’s face reality a little bit, even though I am a World Dreamer, even Dreamer’s can clearly see that, you will always see the same product in the marketplace but it will only be an updated version of previous products displayed in a whole different way and with a bunch of different features, where they have combined previous software an products to make it more suitable for your business and for either a higher price or a more affordable price.

Not to mention that you will receive bonuses to be added to the product pack and will make that more interesting to make you pull out your wallet and give them your money. Hey I’m a marketer and a consumer. I am always looking for killer deals and have seen killers deals offered and sometimes buy just because of the bonuses that are being offered and forget what the reason was I bought that product.

So my point in all summary make to write down what you would like to get from the products you buy and create a game plan to write down some short-term goals for it and long-term. We are all trying to make our lives easier and more manageable, by buying products that will help us make simple but sometimes they are more difficult then we expected them to be.

That’s why a lot of the gurus out there, make limited quantities of certain products. Let say for instance a Marketing Plan for a Private Label Rights Collection, that will be offere only 100 Private Label Licenses and never to be offered again, with a added bonus of about an extra $1,000 and all for the price of $497. Extra Extra you have 3 days to buy or it will be gone forever or for however long it takes until we will take the page down forever.

Look I have bought many of these packages and have learn plenty from what I bought, and felt that it delivered what I sought from the products. I sent a testomonial telling them that they did a great job and that it was a great package. But let’s not forget let’s take a step by step approach.

Let’s by one package or product and implement the strategies right away, what’s the point of buying something if it will raught tomorrow, like if you left out the milk outside of the refrigerator and you left on vacation for 2 days and you come back, it’s sitting there and it stinks and your wonder what that smell is? The milk was left out, it’s not like you can still drink that milk, well you can, but you will not have a nice time, when it comes to your stomach.

Wrap it up if something intrigues you and you want it make it happen, but bare in mind to take the action necessary to get something from whatever it is that you are buying.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Let’s Take Daily Action together and let’s improve and better ourselves along our Journey’s that we call our personal and business journeys, towards becoming happy and Financially Free, enjoy our time that much more better.

Best regards,

 Mr. Julio Mattos

Black Friday More Better known as Shopping Season

Black Friday More Better known as Shopping Season

Friday truly was an experience going down town here in San Francisco, knowing that the shoppers were out in full force.

Wow today is truly one of those days that you would love to have a camera and simply just sit down and video cam the loads and loads of people shopping, buy gifts, returning gifts. I am pretty sure that as you know, for most people this is a 4 day weekend for them and most people who actually had to work took the day off, to go shopping. With all the sales that was taking place at some of the local stores, where you could save youself between 10-60% off on some of the clothing and electronics, plus some other stores.

I walked passed Macy’s they were super packed and then I walked passed Apple store, Virgin Records, CompUsa and a the down town shopping center and you wouldn’t believe how many people I see inside some of these stores, or would you?

I am Thankful I was not looking to go and buy a some gifts today, even though I was looking at a few electronics, but to skip over that, everyone was out working off all that delicious turkey dinner and all of those “What I am Thankful for?” ah what an exercise.

At any case it was a very busy day for retail industry and I suppose at the end of the forth quarter we will see how good they truly did, but in the mean time let’s just enjoy the holidays and prepare for the new year.

We will all be back out shopping again the day after Christmas and it will be even more packed in the stores. I love the holidays when you and your family and friends, come together to celebrate all the holidays, then you all eat and then talk about what has been going on in your lives. The singing, the drinking, the laughing, the kids opening the presents that Santa Dropped off to them and all the rest. Enjoying ourselves to the point where we are happy and around those we love.

I hope you all enjoy your holidays as much as I do.

All the best hopefully you enjoyed your Thanksgiving dinner and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Best regards,

Mr. Julio

Happy Thanksgiving and What are you Thankful for this Thanksgiving?

Happy Thanksgiving

What are you Thankful for this 2007 Thanksgiving?

I hope you will be celebrating this Thanksgiving with your family and friends. Enjoying some home made fresh cooked Turkey and whatever else your traditional Thanksgiving family meal consists of.

Mostly this is the time of year for you and your family and friends to get together and tell each what you are thankful for and what you have been up for the year.  I can tell you this my little nephew’s 3rd birthday is tomorrow and he will be very happy to see his aunties, uncles, cousins come together and enjoy a very delicious home cooked meal, that of course my big sister will be making. Yum, just thinking about it makes want some right now, in my family we usually would have a mix of turkey and honey ham, plus my sister has made her own family tradition and something close to what my mother used to prepare.

I  would love to show you a picture of what my sister will be cooking, but she would chase me away from taking any pictures, a few times she has, but it has been a lot of fun.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving and enjoy the time off of being at work as well. Prepare to relax and enjoy yourself because most people have the next 4 days off, except a few of us will still get a little work in here and there. Ah but what away to fully enjoy yourself, have dinner with family and friends, see all the happy faces and enjoy some delicious food and catch up on what has been going on in each other’s lives.

Enjoy yourselves and we here at MrJulio.com will surely be enjoying ourselves and will be visiting family and friends.

We will give some updated information on the blog over the next few days.

A few things I am Thankful for is as follows:

I glad to be in good health

I am Thankful for all of MrJulio Readers and contributors.

Don’t always believe the headlines you read!

Sunday, November 18th, 2007

Don’t always believe the headlines you read!

With thanks from Tom Tognoli, COO Intero Real Estate:

Here is a little proof that you can’t always believe the headlines. Imagine if you purchased a home each of these years what your net worth would look like today.

“A home is where the bad investment is.”
– San Francisco Examiner. 1996

“Financial planners agree that houses will continue to be a poor investment.”
– Kiplinger’s Personal Financial Magazine, 1993

“We’re starting to go back to the time when you bought a home not for its potential money-making abilities, but rather as a nesting spot.”
– Los Angeles Times, 1993 (Note: 1993 was the absolute low-point for real estate values in Los Angeles. Priced have sky-rocketed since.)

“Most economists agree…a home will become little more than a roof and a tax deduction, certainly mot the lucrative investment it was….”
– Money Magazine, 1986

“If you are looking to buy, be careful. Rising home values are not a sure thing anymore.”
– Miami Herald, 1985

“The era of easy profits in real estate may be drawing to a close.” (Average price at the time: $28,000)
– Money Magazine, 1981

“The goal of owning a home seems to be getting beyond the reach of more and more Americans.” (Average price at the time: $28,000)
– Business Week, 1969

“The prices of houses seem to have reached a plateau, and there is reasonable expectancy that prices will decline.”
– Time Magazine, 1947

No matter what the market tends to be, where you buy, where you lay down your flag to call home, real estate will still shine brighter then any other investment, even though to most people real estate is a liability and not an asset unless you are receiving passive income because of you being the owner of that such property.

We will see how everything around the globe will deal with real estate and regardless of the situation everything will turn out just fine eventually, of course if anything is like history it will, steadily fight it’s way back to stability.

What are You Doing For The Weekend? by Julio Mattos

So What Are Your Plans For The Weekend?

By Julio Mattos

This morning I really woke up early and went to bed late. But what a wonderful feeling it is to awake from your slumber fully refreshed and it seemed like I didn’t want to get out of bed, you know that feeling where you can sleep and you don’t want to get up and next thing you know. You look around the room and you see what’s on the wall or look at a picture, depending of course what you have on your wall, I have a picture of a beautiful waterfall, a man jumping off into the water, while a beautiful sun set, ah what a picture and of course the mountains in the background and some other small things.  Well you can see that was a breath fresh air and I think about beautiful scenery’s I have seen before and constantly enjoy seeing.

Look what I am getting at some morning’s and some days are far better then others, but it’s up to you to choose how you would like your day, week, weekend, month and year to go. No matter if you have problems that will arise or not, it’s better to grasp on to something that makes you happy and allows you to shine brighter then any star, that is in the sky at about nine pm in the evening.  You know when it’s almost turning into the next day and you are able to see all of those beautiful stars in the dark sky, sometimes you can see shapes and other times you cannot see any stars at all because of thick fog in the sky.

It’s that time of year where families come together, to celebrate Thanksgiving and to say Thanks for whatever they are thankful for. Some of my friends do not eat meat and so they really do not like celebrating this holiday, but all truism it’s best suited to say Thanks everyday. I enjoy my life and everything that’s come into it, it doesn’t matter if it’s good or bad, what matters is that you enjoy yourself each day, that you take time out to remember the reason why you are working, coming together as a family, to catch up on what has been going on in each other’s life.

We realize that we allow ourselves to make so many excuses as to why we cannot meet with family, friends, and our spouses, sometimes we would rather avoid dealing with what may come our way. Me personally I would rather take things straight on and enjoy each experience that follows, because you can never trully grow until you are ready to except the obstacles that will surely come into your life. That’s not all you have to be willing to learn from each experience and take that little tidbit from that situation and look to better yourself in the long-term. We must except that life has a circle pattern, where by we must learn and adapt to each and every new encounter that comes into our lives.

Today I have been working on some plans that I started last night, it has kept me full thought since earlier in the week and it has had me reflect on where I am currently this year, what work I have been doing, what activities, what experiences that I have enjoyed and took a tidbit from each of these, I have been keeping a journal as to each and every experience that I have had. Wow you will be blown away by when you look back at a certain day and you read the notes that you have written, you would see what you got from that current task and situation and what you learned from it. These things are very important and sometimes life changing, all in all it’s quite a beneficial site to see, when you truly not reflect upon the situations that happen but also what situations that still yet to come.

Plan out some nice fun activities for yourself, spend time with your family and friends. Go to the gym and get your exercise in, I surely am getting my exercise in and let me tell you, it feels terrific after a good cardio session and then some free weights. I also plan to go swimming tonight after I finish a few projects that I have scheduled to work on today. Let’s enjoy our lives and make each better then the day that has passed.

For each day that we claim and enjoy, take some kind of action to improve and to truly enjoy then it will be day worth living for, worth fighting for and worth looking forward to. So many people allow for their lives to become so complicated and try to plan so many things out, become easily distracted by other matters and can concentrate completely, I understand whole heartedly because it happens to the best of us, but it take a fighter to truly make a decision and to stick with it, then live it out.

I am always told why are you so happy, I have had my deep sorrow moments, looked in the mirror and told myself, that is not the person that I truly am, it’s not the person I have fought so hard to become. I am a better then that, I am truly a person with many World Dreamer moments, I allow myself to truly want to carry out my goals, to bring joy and hope and love into people’s lives and to bring it back into my own life. I look forward to everyday with open arms because if I sit down and let life keep me down and I do nothing about it, take no action, come up with no solutions to what’s bothering me, look to come up with more and more excuses, that will not bring joy into my life. I will not experience truly what the day can truly be about.

A lot of us take the day and night, for granted, we do not truly see what we can do and what we cannot do. So many people would be the first ones with their hands out, if you were to have won the lottery, you would get calls from all family and friends, that you haven’t heard from in the longest amount of time. Money is not everything and believe that deeply, but it does provide you with the things which allow you to bring a little joy to your life, while decreasing your worries of your financial foundation. Money does not by you love either, not the real love that comes from the heart anyways.

Take some time to plan out your weekend and your life, take it on a step by step basis, and watch yourself blossom into the most beautiful flower, which the likes the world has never seen.

I plan to enjoy this day by listening to some relaxing music, doing a little bit of work, planning some activities for today and for the future, improving myself by going exercising, improve my business entrepreneurship skills by taking some training, listening to some audio coaching and watching some video training and creating and promoting some of my products, writing a few articles and then going to spend some time with some friends.

I also have plans to by an Amtrak ticket to Reno, Nevada to go visit my sisters and my nieces and nephews next week, I have a set time today to call and speak to my nieces and nephews as well.

What about you what do you have planned for the weekend?

How Many Affiliate Checks Do You Want To Receive?

How Many Affiliate Checks Do You Want To Receive?

Affiliate Marketing is by far, one of the easiest ways to make money online. It is a revenue sharing business relationship between the affiliate who agrees to promote the products or services, and the merchant who offers them.

The affiliate advertises the merchant’s products and services and gets a commission for every successful referral. Every time a customer is referred to the merchant’s site, through the affiliate’s efforts, and makes a purchase, the affiliate gets a share of the profit. No payment is due to the affiliate until successful results are realized. Compensation is based on either number of visits (Pay-per-click), registrant (Pay-per-lead), or commission for each sale (Pay-per-sale).

Affiliate Marketers can earn a few bucks to thousands of dollars with affiliate programs. The opportunity to earn in affiliate marketing can only be limited by the affiliate’s determination, creativity and strategy. It is a brilliant way to earn online, and you do not have to produce your own product or service to make a buck. By advertising your merchant’s products passionately, you get more in return. Profits in affiliate marketing usually start small but can get larger as the campaign starts to build up steam.

There are many ways that an affiliate marketer can do to maximize their profits. If you ask any affiliate marketer how many affiliate checks they would want to receive, they will most likely want to get as many as possible. Some affiliate checks are small, amounting to nothing more than $25.
While others are large and can easily reach the thousands and even more. Over time, these affiliate checks may build up to a really impressive amount. However, making a fortune in affiliate marketing is not instant. You should put in enough work and effort as well. You have to use your imagination to find more ways to attract more web traffic that can convert to sales for the merchant and profit for you as well.

How many affiliate checks do you want to receive? Most affiliate marketers will enthusiastically reply that they want to receive as many affiliate checks as possible. However, is it as easy as it sounds? Does joining many affiliate marketers guarantee more affiliate checks that really amount to something? The answer is No. Most affiliate marketers assume that joining multiple affiliate programs is a wise option. Because, it is very easy to join affiliate programs and there is really nothing to lose, affiliate marketers are tempted to join as many programs they can get their hands on. Thus, they fail to give their affiliate programs enough attention and work that they ought to receive. The maximum potential of the affiliate programs are not realized and the resulting income from these programs will almost certainly be disappointing.

The best way to achieve multiple streams of income is to concentrate on one affiliate program first. Choose a product or service that you can promote passionately. Pick a product in which you have complete trust. The best products and services to promote are those that you use personally. Your prospects will be able to sense your sincerity whenever you promote a product that you have experienced. This will greatly enhance your credibility as well as your product’s marketability and will really encourage your prospect to purchase or avail of the product or service.

As soon as your first affiliate program is making a reasonable profit then you can proceed to joining another affiliate program and repeat the process. “Too much, too soon” is a common pitfall in affiliate marketing. Joining too many affiliate programs simultaneously in the hopes of having multiple streams of income simply does not work.

Focus first on one affiliate program and work on it so that it makes a good profit. Then, go find another promising program and give it your best effort. The question should not be how many affiliate checks you want to receive, but how many “high-paying” affiliate checks can you receive. The answer lies in your determination to succeed and determination to maximize your earning potential. With the right tools, the right actions, and perseverance you can definitely make a good profit out of affiliate marketing.
