Giving Away Ebooks To Make Affiliate Sales

Wednesday, May 30th, 2007

Giving Away Ebooks To Make Affiliate SalesMany people dream they could simply give things away for a living. Few know though that making this dream a reality is not very difficult to do. In fact anybody can start out doing this will no investment what so ever. Many people over look the power of giving away brandable books to make affiliate sales and drive traffic to their site. Others utilize it to make themselves a living.

The first and most exciting part of starting your own business of giving away brandable books is actually finding the books. A fairly easy way to start is by doing a search for brandable books. Although you may find tons of books this way you should always keep an eye out for them. They can be found all around and you should jump on every opportunity to find new ones.

What makes brandable books so special is the fact that you can alter them slightly. Certain fields in brandable books can be changed to promote your affiliate links or your web site. These books usually spread virally and by giving away a single copy it can reach thousands of readers.

Most brandable books will come with a branding program. The most popular of which is PDF Brand. Branding books is fairly easy. Simply have the branding program open the book you are working on. It should now give you certain fields that you have to change. These fields may be your affiliate link for a certain product or even your site name and web site address.

Make sure you brand your products as soon as possible and place all your branded programs in a different location then the original unbranded version.

The next thing you will need to do is get a web site host. This can be any paid host like Dream Host or even a free one if you are strapped for cash. If you have to go with a free one try to find one that does not put advertisements on your pages. This can distract your visitors and lead them away from your site.

Now go and upload all of the products you branded to your host. You will want to put them in a easy to find directory to keep this as simple as possible.

Once you have uploaded the products to your host it is time to start putting together your site. This can be a very simple page that lists the diff rent products you have for download with a short description and a link to download the product. If possible try and find a picture for each product and use it as well.

If you can do something fancier it is recommended. If not your simple page should start you out just fine. People visiting your site should not mind to much as long as it is functional.

Now that your site is all setup and functional you are ready to drive a little traffic to it. You will not have to do this for very long though. Once your branded ebooks get circulating around people will see your sites link in them and stop on by to check you out. Brandable books can also have a viral effect on your traffic as well.

One of the easiest ways to promote your site for free is on forums. The best place to try to promote your site is on marketing forums. These people are always looking for free products to use as bonuses or give to their lists.

Advertising on forums can be done by quite simply by adding a link to your site in your forum signature. Now simply start making productive and informative posts. This will get your signature seen allot as well as build your reputation.

Another good way to advertise your site for free is on Craigs List. Advertising on Craigs List can get you quite a few visitors as long as you post in the right place. You can also rerun your ad every week to keep the traffic coming.

The most powerful form of advertising you will be doing though is branding the books themselves. Many brandable books will have a spot for you to put your sites name and site address. If your site name has to do with free ebooks you should have no problems getting people to visit.

You should now know more than most people about giving away products to make money. This can be a very profitable and fun experience. Just remember to keep your eyes out for new products to add to your site. As long as you keep adding new products you should not have any problems getting some good traffic and a mail box full of checks.

Starting Your Own Group To Make Cash

Wednesday, May 30th, 2007

Starting Your Own Group To Make CashMany people overlook the power of running your own Yahoo, MSN, and Google group. These groups are very niche oriented and can often times yield thousands of members. It is very easy to start up your own group for free that you can promote affiliate and resale rights products to.

The first thing you need to do is select a popular and active niche topic. To make this easy you should write down a list of at least ten things that you are interested in or have experience in. This will make posting to your group very easy to do.

Now that you have your list of topics made it is time to choose a winner. To do this we will turn to a tool called Niche Bot. Simply go to nichebot dot com and type your first topic in the space provided and hit search.

You will now be shown the top ten related search terms. We are not really worried about how easy it will be to get ranked in the search engines since this will not be our focus. Most of our traffic will come from other groups as well searches done on the group hosts (Yahoo, MSN, ect..) main page. In this case we want to find a topic that has lots of searches done on it to make sure our group topic is popular.

Now you should have a smaller list of wining topics. But we want to do one more thing before starting your group.

What you need to do now is search for your main topic on Google. On the right hand side of your search results you should see the paid ads. Look through them and make sure that people are selling digital products. This will ensure that your target audience is willing to buy online.

For now just choose one of the ones that are left over to start your first group with. You by no means want to get overwhelmed when starting out so start with only one topic.

You can start your group on any site that has such an option. The most popular sites that have groups are Yahoo, MSN, and Google. I suggest starting a group on all of these sites. We will not go into any detail here since it is pretty self explanatory and each site differs.

Once you have your groups setup you will want to make your first post. Once you post to one of the groups you can also put the same post on the others. This way you should have three mirror groups.

Your posts can be almost anything. Some of the easiest things to post will be articles and excerpts from other sites with your opinion mixed in. Your group will be very much like an exclusive blog. Your members can post messages to the group to hold a conversation as well as ask questions and make comments.

You will find yourself getting new members all of the time. As long as your topic is popular members of the site will find your group via searches as well as word of mouth. It may take a little while to build a good fan base this way but there is a couple of tricks you can pull out of your sleeve.

The first and most effective one is to JV with other group owners. You will most likely find that someone else has created a similar group who’s topic is related to yours. The easiest way to JV with another group is to simply join it. Once you have joined you should make an informative post or two to get known as a reliable source.

Now that you have made yourself seen look for the group owners email. Write them a simple e-mail explaining what you would like to do. In this case you would like to promote their group to yours and have them do the same. This will equally benefit both groups. You could also try offering things like niche products with resale rights to get them to promote your group to theirs.

The next easiest thing to do is write some articles. These can be used for content on your group as well as get submitted to article directories with a link back to your group’s in the author BIO so people can join them.

This option will get the word out allot better than doing a JV. However when using a cross promotion JV the people your group is being advertised to are more likely to join since they are already part of the community.

The third thing you can do to promote your group is post on forums. To do this simply put links to your groups in your forum signature. Once you have done this start making informative posts as well as answer other forum members questions. This will give you credibility and you will soon start seeing new members sign up for your group from the forums.

By using all of the above techniques you should be able to build up a few thousand members in no time if your topic is popular. Once you get your members make sure to keep them by posting new information frequently. If you do not make it worth while for your members to stay they will leave your group.

The next thing you want to do is start selling to this group of hungry members. There are two option you have to make money from your group.

The first way to make money from your group is to promote affiliate products. You can do this by writing articles that relate to the topic as well as post reviews on products. When you write a review make sure that you have actually seen or used the product or service.

When your members go to buy the product they will know if you have actually seen or used it. Lying or falsifying information will simply hurt you in the end so try not to B. S. your members. This is the quickest way to loose their trust and chase them away from your group.

The second thing you can do is sell products that are related to your niche that have resale rights. This means that you can sell the product for any price and keep 100% of the profits. The best way to sell resale rights products to your group is to have a site to upload them to and a simple order page with a Pay Pal order button on.

You can always simply have your members send the money to your Pay Pal account and just email them the product but this will be very time consuming. If at all possible you will want to automate this in one way or another. This will give you more time to create content for your groups and find products to promote.

Setting up your very own group is not hard at all. In fact anybody with a computer and an Internet connection has the ability to do it. Many people overlook the possibilities of starting their own groups and for this reason it is not a very crowded market. If you are looking to make money online without having to invest any money this is a great place to start.

Marketing Resell Rights Products

Wednesday, May 30th, 2007

Marketing Resell Rights ProductsResell rights products offer you the ability to sell your own product, without actually creating one. While this gets you past one hurdle – the creation of a product – you still have another hurdle to face. How do you market a resell rights product?

The first and best option is to market the product to your mailing list. If you do not have a mailing list, build one. There are various ways to do this, but the quickest way to build a list is to offer a free product, which is advertised with pay-per-click or through other people’s lists. When the prospect arrives at the site to receive their free gift, they must fill in their name and email address, and give you permission to email them in the future.

Pay-Per-Click advertising can be used for more than list building, however. You can also use pay-per-click to market your resell rights product. Google AdWords is one of the best pay-per-click programs in existence today, but there are many other options, including Yahoo Search Marketing.

You can also purchase advertising in related newsletters, which are also called ezines. This is a very effective way to market a product, and it is a tried and true method. You can find quality newsletters by doing searches in the ezine directories online.

Article marketing is also very effective. You simply write articles that relate to your product, or have them written for you, and submit them to the various article banks, allowing others to read them and use them for content for their newsletters and websites, for free. At the bottom of your articles, add a resource box, which is essentially an ‘about the author’ paragraph, which should include a link to your sales page.

You can also joint venture with people who have large mailing lists. Just make sure that their lists are made up of people who will be interested in your product. It doesn’t make sense to market football products to a mailing list that is mostly made up of women who are interested in recipes.

Compete With Other Resellers With The Same Product

Tuesday, May 22nd, 2007

Compete With Other Resellers With The Same ProductMany people avoid resell rights products simply because they believe that they cannot compete with other resellers who are selling the same product, or they feel the market for that product may be flooded due to the fact that there are a great number of other resellers.

However, if you really think about it, most people purchase resell rights, and have no intention of reselling the product – they simply wanted the product. Others purchase resell rights to sell the product, but honestly don’t know how, or don’t use very effective marketing techniques. In fact, 90% of the people who hold the same resell rights that you hold are doing it wrong.

You must also consider the market. While it is harder to sell Internet Marketing related products, selling non-Internet Marketing products is easier than you think. The reason it is harder to sell Internet Marketing products is because most of the other resellers will in fact be Internet Marketers who do know what they are doing.

First, you must increase your marketing efforts. By doing more, you will put yourself well ahead of the 10% that are actually marketing the product correctly. Find new markets for the product and new ways to reach them. Consider holding teleseminars or joint venturing with other marketers who have large subscriber lists.

Next, make your package more attractive than other people’s. You typically will not have the right to change the product, but that doesn’t mean you can’t change the offer. Use other products as bonuses, as long as you have the right to give those products away. Beef up your package, and you will pull ahead of the competition quickly. Also, change your sales letter. Don’t use the same sales letter that other resellers are using. Make yours unique.

Energy Healing 101: Pranic, Tantric, and Reiki…

Tuesday, May 8th, 2007

Energy Healing 101: Pranic, Tantric, and Reiki

You have probably come across exotic-sounding terms such as “chakra”, “prana”, “aura”, and “tantra” in your course of reading books on spirituality, sex, and healing in the New Age literature section of the bookstore. But what’s the real scoop behind these exotic vocabularies?

Are All Energy Healings the Same?

Chakra or energy center is a term used in Pranic healing, an ancient Hindu system of energy healing. “Prana” means life energy. “Aura” is another terminology traced to Pranic healing. Aura is a non-physical body that consists of energy, which exists along with our physical body. The aura that covers our body is said to have seven layers pertaining to the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of an individual as manifested by energy. Studying the color and thickness of auras give ideas on the state of health of individuals. Six colors are associated with aura and interpreted into six personalities. These colors are all present in an individual but one or two are more pronounced.

Green – ambitious achiever

Blue – spiritual peacemaker

White – unconventional chameleon

Red – activist

Orange – creative communicator

Violet – psychic

Although Tantra is popularly associated with the peculiar practice of sex and spirituality, it is another method of energy healing. It comes from the word “tan” which means to spread or expand. The concept of connectedness is a recurring theme in Tantric writings on sex and spirituality. As a method of healing, spirituality and sex figure prominently. It is presupposed that the union of man and woman can reach spiritual levels during orgasm, which removes the body and mind off collected impurities. These impurities being negative energies can in turn manifest as physical illnesses.

Unlike Pranic and Tantric healings, which have Hindu origins, Reiki originated from Japan. It is relatively younger than Pranic and Tantric healings having been rediscovered in the early 1900’s. Reiki stands for universal energy, an energy brought forth by higher intelligence. Students of Reiki are taught how to tap this energy to heal physical, emotional, and mental illnesses.

Although Pranic, Tantra, and Reiki are all systems of energy healing, they differ in the type of energy tapped for healing: life energy, sexual energy, and universal energy respectively.

The concepts of the connectedness of mind, body, and spirit; the connection of individuals to all living and nonliving things around them and to the universe; and how energy impacts physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being are some of the salient similarities of these three healing methods.

Why Do People Turn to Energy Healing?

Pranic, Tantric, and Reiki are considered alternative methods of healing. In spite of the availability and relative accessibility of modern medicine, how come more and more people are being drawned to them? Here are some possible reasons:

· Energy healing worked where modern medicine failed.

For several reasons both explainable and unexplainable, modern medical treatment failed to heal ailments and conditions in several if not many persons. Research or data may not be able to support this statement. But for the families of the dying as well as for the dying patient, they would take the risk of using alternative methods ranging from herbals and organics, faith healers, witch doctors, and New Age healing techniques just to be get well.

· People perceive modern medicine to be isolating.

Medical treatments are oftentimes focused on the disease and its causative agent, which can make a patient feel isolated and treated like a mere host of the disease. Although recent developments in hospital practice are gradually promoting the holistic treatment of a patient, the perception still persists. Unlike in energy healing, since energy and spirituality are intimately linked, the patient feels that all aspects of his health are being attended to.

· Energy healing is non-obtrusive and natural thus it is safer.

Repeated surgical procedures are physically and emotionally traumatic for most patients. It is but a logical and attractive option to both patient and families to look for less stressful health interventions. Moreover, with the rising popularity of New Age religions, going natural is the way to go.

· Energy healing is a good way of relieving stress.

Meditation is part and parcel of energy healing methods and this is an added come-on for highly stressed people. Moreover, sophisticated equipment is not required thus it becomes all the more convenient for students and future students of energy healing.

The battle between alternative healing and mainstream medicine continues as both present the benefits of their approach. But in the final analysis, what matters is the restoration of good health.

Happy Belated Cinco De Mayo Weekend…

Monday, May 7th, 2007

Happy Belated Cinco De Mayo Weekend,

Here in San Francisco it was alot of people out enjoying themselves.

From friends to family and young and old, but it was an incredible experience, watching the young kids playing with other young kids and having fun throughout the whole day.

Then of course the many different families and friends out socializing and having a few drinks, and let’s not forget enjoying the wonderful food on the tables, oh how good it was.

Let not forget the sports games taking place and the boxing matches.

Boxing Del Hoya lost.

Baseball in San Francisco Giants won.

Basket Ball Warriors won.

Let’s not forget the beautiful weather, wow the weather has been awesome here in San Francisco and a little to hot late night in my apartment.

But it was a wonderful weekend and a relaxing one at that.

The highlights of the weekend also including me reviewing my plans for this year and for next and have made me delay a few projects.

Soon we will be having a few of our projects jumping up and we will be looking into and promoting some positive things we will are worthwhile.

Best regards,

Mr Julio Mattos

P.s. We will be posting some articles later today and later this week as well.

Get going on on, “Getting Up and Taking Action”

Update for Thursaday May 3 2007…

Thursday, May 3rd, 2007

Small updates of our articles lately,

We have posted articles here on Mr. Julio Blog quite a few and we will continue doing this going forward.

But please with your help we are looking to make MrJulio.com a more worthy blog and will also be creating a store that goes with some of things we believe in here, at Mr Julio’s Blog.

We have free ebooks coming here soon and will be listing a few different sites that we believe you should have in your resource center, for your personal and business network.

Remember money is one thing, not the only thing in your life.

Money is a great helping hand to those who know how to acquire it and those who know how to invest it, to make a second income stream come to them and so on and so on.

The point of money is to live the dream lifestyle that you truly desire to live and to do the things you feel are most enjoyable and most worthwhile.

Getting up each day and taking action on things you want to do and not things you have to do is a very important and motivating factor, at least in the eyes who can see it.

Most of us go through our lives looking for a steady job or career, thinking that we are secure but sadly we are not secure unless the company you are working with has a long drawn out contract with you, then it is possible but mostly this happens over in Europe not in the USA.

Seeing things through the eyes of those have travelled and those who are living in other countries or who have visited other countries, you view point changes as you see more and more of this world.

I have said this for many years now and the point behind it points to the facts itself, a story would truly explain exactly that and I will have that small story here for reading tomorrow and would love to get your view points as to what you think of our articles.

Have a good day and I hope your week has been wonderful and that you have taken actions towards, helping you get that much closer to your life goals, or resolutions of changing your life and helping you to see that you have more opportunity then most people out here in the world.

Best regards,

Mr. Julio

P.s. Oh yes let us not forget about some of the updates we have mentioned.

We are looking to change our Blog templates and also will be adding a newsletter to this this blog and we are coming close to our helpdesk for our many different websites and niches, that we have and partner with.

Yes some fun stuff to come and lets not forget that MrJulio.com will be going into a few of the big socializing communities and will also be putting some info about Mr. Julio himself and the reasoning for him creating this specific blog.

We realize that MrJulio.com come across as having quite a few categories but since we ourselves have a variety of interests ourselves and have bought many different products and have many different viewpoints we feel that it’s necessary, plus easier for those of you who have different interest’s of your own.

P.s. Thank you for reading and stopping by, our traffic to our blog is ever increasing and on a very rapid pace.

Take care of yourself and you and yours.

All the best,

The Key to a Better Life…

Wednesday, May 2nd, 2007

The Key to a Better Life
Time management is basically about being focused. The Pareto Principle also known as the ’80:20 Rule’ states that 80% of efforts that are not time managed or unfocused generates only 20% of the desired output. However,  80% of the desired output can be generated using only 20% of a well time managed effort. Although  the ratio ’80:20′ is only arbitrary, it is used to put emphasis on how much is lost or how much can be gained with time management.

Some people view time management as a list of rules that involves scheduling of appointments, goal settings, thorough planning, creating things to do lists and prioritizing. These are the core basics of time management that should be understood to develop an efficient personal time management skill. These basic skills can be fine tuned further to include the finer points of each skill that can give you that extra reserve to make the results you desire.

But there is more skills involved in time management than the core basics. Skills such as decision making, inherent abilities such as emotional intelligence and critical thinking are also essential to your personal growth.

Personal time management involves everything you do. No matter how big and no matter how small, everything counts. Each new knowledge you acquire, each new advice you consider, each new skill you develop should be taken into consideration.

Having a balanced life-style should be the key result in having personal time management. This is the main aspect that many practitioners of personal time management fail to grasp.

Time management is about getting results, not about being busy.

The six areas that personal time management seeks to improve in anyone’s life are physical, intellectual, social, career, emotional and spiritual.

The physical aspect involves having a healthy body, less stress and fatigue.

The intellectual aspect involves learning and other mental growth activities.

The social aspect involves developing personal or intimate relations and being an active contributor to society.

The career aspect involves school and work.

The emotional aspect involves appropriate feelings and desires and manifesting them.

The spiritual aspect involves a personal quest for meaning.

Thoroughly planning and having a set of things to do list for each of the key areas may not be very practical, but determining which area in your life is not being giving enough attention is part of time management. Each area creates the whole you, if you are ignoring one area then you are ignoring an important part of yourself.

Personal time management should not be so daunting a task. It is a very sensible and reasonable approach in solving problems big or small.

A great way of learning time management and improving your personal life is to follow several basic activities.

One of them is to review your goals whether it be immediate or long-term goals often.

A way to do this is to keep a list that is always accessible to you.

Always determine which task is necessary or not necessary in achieving your goals and which activities are helping you maintain a balanced life style.

Each and everyone of us has a peek time and a time when we slow down, these are our natural cycles. We should be able to tell when to do the difficult tasks when we are the sharpest.

Learning to say “No”. You actually see this advice often. Heed it even if it involves saying the word to family or friends.

Pat yourself at the back or just reward yourself in any manner for an effective time management result.

Try and get the cooperation from people around you who are actually benefiting from your efforts of time management.

Don’t procrastinate. Attend to necessary things immediately.

Have a positive attitude and set yourself up for success. But be realistic in your approach in achieving your goals.

Have a record or journal of all your activities. This will help you get things in their proper perspective.

These are the few steps you initially take in becoming a well rounded individual.

As the say personal time management is the art and science of building a better life.

From the moment you integrate into your life time management skills, you have opened several options that can provide a broad spectrum of solutions to your personal growth. It also creates more doors for opportunities to knock on.

Life Mapping: A Vision of Success…

Wednesday, May 2nd, 2007

Life Mapping: A Vision of Success
Success is more than economic gains, titles, and degrees. Planning for success is about mapping out all the aspects of your life. Similar to a map, you need to define the following details: origin, destination, vehicle, backpack, landmarks, and route.

Origin:  Who you are

A map has a starting point. Your origin is who you are right now. Most people when asked to introduce themselves would say, “Hi, I’m Jean and I am a 17-year old, senior highschool student.” It does not tell you about who Jean is; it only tells you her present preoccupation. To gain insights about yourself, you need to look closely at your beliefs, values, and principles aside from your economic, professional, cultural, and civil status. Moreover, you can also reflect on your experiences to give you insights on your good and not-so-good traits, skills, knowledge, strengths, and weaknesses. Upon introspection, Jean realized that she was highly motivated, generous, service-oriented, but impatient. Her inclination was in the biological-medical field. Furthermore, she believed that life must serve a purpose, and that wars were destructive to human dignity.

Destination: A vision of who you want to be

“Who do want to be?” this is your vision. Now it is important that you know yourself so that you would have a clearer idea of who you want to be; and the things you want to change whether they are attitudes, habits, or points of view. If you hardly know yourself, then your vision and targets for the future would also be unclear. Your destination should cover all the aspects of your being: the physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual. Continuing Jean’s story, after she defined her beliefs, values, and principles in life, she decided that she wanted to have a life dedicated in serving her fellowmen.

Vehicle: Your Mission

A vehicle is the means by which you can reach your destination. It can be analogized to your mission or vocation in life. To a great extent, your mission would depend on what you know about yourself. Bases on Jean’s self-assessment, she decided that she was suited to become a doctor, and that she wanted to become one. Her chosen vocation was a medical doctor. Describing her vision-mission fully: it was to live a life dedicated to serving her fellowmen as a doctor in conflict-areas.

Travel Bag: Your knowledge, skills, and attitude

Food, drinks, medicines, and other travelling necessities are contained in a bag. Applying this concept to your life map, you also bring with you certain knowledge, skills, and attitudes. These determine your competence and help you in attaining your vision. Given such, there is a need for you to assess what knowledge, skills, and attitudes you have at present and what you need to gain along the way. This two-fold assessment will give you insights on your landmarks or measures of success. Jean realized that she needed to gain professional knowledge and skills on medicine so that she could become a doctor. She knew that she was a bit impatient with people so she realized that this was something she wanted to change.

Landmarks and Route: S.M.A.R.T. objectives

Landmarks confirm if you are on the right track while the route determines the travel time. Thus, in planning out your life, you also need to have landmarks and a route. These landmarks are your measures of success. These measures must be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time bound. Thus you cannot set two major landmarks such as earning a master’s degree and a doctorate degree within a period of three years, since the minimum number of years to complete a master’s degree is two years. Going back to Jean as an example, she identified the following landmarks in her life map: completing a bachelor’s degree in biology by the age of 21; completing medicine by the age of 27; earning her specialization in infectious diseases by the age of 30; getting deployed in local public hospitals of their town by the age of 32; and serving as doctor in war-torn areas by the age of 35.

Anticipate Turns, Detours, and Potholes

The purpose of your life map is to minimize hasty and spur-of-the-moment decisions that can make you lose your way. But oftentimes our plans are modified along the way due to some inconveniences, delays, and other situations beyond our control. Like in any path, there are turns, detours, and potholes thus; we must anticipate them and adjust accordingly.
